Victorias POV - Prologue

Me and my boyfriend Alex were on our way home from our date.We have been together for about 2 months and I really like him."I had a really nice time,thank you for taking me out."i said.He looked at me and smiled."It was my pleasure,although I should've taken you out somewhere else,driving through the woods is freaking me out!"He said.

"I know,I'm growing goosebumps on my arms,but seriously..it's worth it,I had fun."

"I'm glad you did,I would've been embarressed if you didnt."

I laughed and said "don't worry,even if I didn't have any fun whatsoever..I would've gave you another chance but that's it!"

He chuckled at my response and took my hand in his. "I know you,I know you would give me a 2nd chance..you'd give a serial killer a 2nd chance after he killed your whole family!"

I giggled and hit his arm playfully,but I never should've done that because that made us swerve off of the road.I screamed and hurriedly put my seatbelt on after I realized I didn't have it on. "Jesus Victoria,you almost got us killed!"

"I'm sorry! That wasn't supposed to happen I swear!"

"It's okay,just try not to hit me again while I'm driving okay?" He said in a serious tone,but I knew he was joking.

I sighed and looked out of the window.I looked over at Alex and saw that he was gripping the steering wheel and his knuckles were white."Are you okay?"u asked.

"Yeah,why wouldn't I be?"he said with a small smile.

"Well you were holding on to the steering wheel with a tight grip I thought you were upset about something."i said in an uneasy voice.

"I'm fine Victoria,you don't need to worry about me."I sighed and said "okay I won't,unless you give me a reason to."

"I won't have t-" He was cut off because next thing I knew we were heading straight for a tree. I gasped and grabbed ahold of the steering wheel and drove back onto the road.I looked over to my left and I saw Alex unconscious and not moving.I stopped the car and got out.I dialed 911 on my phone but I had no idea where we were."911,please state your emergency." Before I can even respond,I saw headlights coming my way and I had to move the car before me and Alex got hit.The problem was that I couldn't move the car in time.I had to choose,My life,or Alex's? Before I could even think,I ran the opposite way the headlights were coming from. What I saw next made me lose my balance and conciousness and before I blacked out,I could hear the sirens of ambulances heading our way.
