So I am basing this off an AU/Prompt on tumblr. It won't be 100 percent accurate, but it's pretty darn close!

So I do hope you enjoy!

The first Day Marinette started school at Collège Françoise Dupont, there was some adjusting to be done. Making friends was one of them. So when the teacher introduced Marinette to the class, Marinette held up a sign.
'I am deaf and do not speak. I hope we all adjust well.'
Now you can bet that most of Marinette's classmates tried their best to make Marinette feel welcome. Bringing pads of paper to school to speak to her, get to know her and hopefully be friends. Although Marinette was utterly delighted when she found out a classmate of hers, a brown skinned boy who looked like a cool 90's DJ, could speak French Sign Language; his name was Nino. A close friendship was formed and soon she became friends with a girl named Alya. Alya had brown and red hair, glasses evident and cool casual style was her way. However Alya didn't know sign language, but texting and and writing notes to each other in class was a constant form of communication; Along with Alya going on and on about the new hero Ladybug, who also recently became a duo with Paris' sly savior, Chat Noir. So a circle of friend's was formed, Adrien, Nathaniel, Rose, Juleka and the extended class. Marinette made sure to remember all of their names, and when she was alone, she would say those names to herself, asking her small red and black Kwami, Tikki, if she was pronouncing them right. She didn't know how her voice sounded, but Tikki was evident on saying that she had a soothing and cute voice, considering her disability.
Marinette met her Kwami only a few days after attending her new school. She appeared in her room; and Marinette honest to god, thought she was a flying rat. However, Tikki realised that her chosen... was deaf. This allowed her to type on the computer in Marinette's room. So Marinette eventually understood her appearance, and as to why she has been chosen to hold a Miraculous. At first, Marinette had doubts. How could she protect Paris from these Akuma's if she was deaf? And a chosen mute? Let alone carry this new found title, Ladybug. This is where Chat Noir came in. He has been a lone savior of Paris for a few months now, dealing with robberies, helping find the missing and anything the police needed assistance with. However one day, something strange was happening with Paris' citizens, they kept changing, and Chat Noir's Kwami had to inform Chat that this was out of their power. So a wise yet mysterious man was out to find another chosen, someone who could be trusted with the Kwami of luck. So the earrings sought out Marinette, thus making Tikki evident in her life.
So when Tikki lead Marinette to the roof of Notre dame, she was confused. Until a blond boy, dressed in a black, leather cat suit showed up. He had intensely green eyes, even where the whites of his eyes were meant to be, although his skin wasn't as tanned as hers, he was attractive but she was eyeing his baton, which he held in his claw like hands.
Chat Noir studied the girl before him. His Kwami, a black cat named Plagg, told him to go to the church for a meeting with a new miraculous wielder; how he got this information, Chat Noir didn't know. However, he was elated, maybe she had the powers to stop these strange and random attacks. He tried introducing himself, but she was staring at his baton, paying him no mind. So he twirled the baton, gaining her attention. She looked up at him again. And he spoke.
Ladybug made sure to stare at his lips as carefully as she could, so she could understand what he was saying.
"My name is Chat Noir. Are you the new Miraculous holder?"
Ladybug then looked into his eyes and nodded. Chat tilted his head at her quiet nature. Ladybug noticed his confusion and covered her ears, and then her mouth. it took a while for Chat to catch on, but his eyes went wide.
"Deaf?"  Is what Ladybug read from his lips.
She smiled, nodding. She then walked up to him and took out her hand, gesturing for him to shake it. He looked at it, and then her. He was amazed, yet confused.
Ladybug then moved her hands to cover his ears, and then his cat ears, a giggle vibrating from her throat after doing so; Chat smiled at this and laughed also. After she cupped his ears, she pointed to hers, and then pointed to him. He understood immediately.
"I'll be your ears..." There was a pause in his mouth movement before he gestured for a fist bump. "Partner"
Ladybug grinned from ear to ear, bringing her fist to his.

The very next day was a school day for Marinette. And she was grinning from ear to ear. She had only been at the school for a week, but it's been the best week for her. Alya, who was with Adrien, a blond boy with green eyes and dazzling looks, and Nino, even had to ask what has her so happy. She signed.
Friends and understanding.
Fortunately Nino was there, and he smiled.
"Friends and understanding."
Alya looked at Nino and then Marinette, englufing them in a hug. However, Adrien looked at Marinette when a thought came to him.
"I want to learn Sign language." He said out loud.
Nino and Alya heard this, although Marinette was thoroughly confused. But the smiles on her friends faces replaced that confusion with happiness.

Two days after these events, an Akuma attack happened. This would be Chat's first time dealing with them with a partner, and Ladybug's first time dealing with them at all. The Akuma turned out to be a poor girl who got rejected from the school she wanted to go to. The heartbreak was evident. Ladybug and Chat Noir, who both arrived at the scene, nodded at each other. Although before they took off to stop the Akuma, Chat covered his ears, and pointed at Ladybug. To which she realised, she could trust this boy, whoever he is.
With guidance from Tikki, Ladybug knew how to use her Lucky charm, and her Yo Yo when it came to purifying the Akuma. Now, even though her other senses, such as her scent and sight was heightened, she mainly relied on her eyes. So when she didn't realise she was about to be attacked from behind, Chat managed to pull her out of the way. Ladybug then noted, he was quick on his feet. But after activating her lucky charm, swinging from building to building, and somehow saving bystanders along the way. Chat Noir stood back for a minute. He watched as Ladybug turned to face him, she pointed at the Akumatised victim's book and made a butterfly action with her hands.
Chat Noir just had to take her in before understanding her message. They were in sync, her disability didn't even phase her, let along stop her from, dare he say it, kicking ass. He felt drawn to her. However, he realised he must destroy the book, with guidance from his Kwami, and he assumed hers. He yelled out Cataclysm, thus formed a black aura to form on his left hand.
Ladybug looked in amazement; he and his Kwami must be powerful, that's all she could think.
It wasn't long until Chat dashed forward, catching the Akumatised victim off guard, and destroyed her book with the slash of his hand. The victim collapsed, turning back into a citizen. However a Yo Yo was suddenly thrown at the slowly escaping dark butterfly that appeared from the back. The butterfly was captured and both Chat and Ladybug stared at her Yo Yo. She tapped on it, and waved goodbye to a now white butterfly. Chat admired the scene, before seeing her Yo Yo thrown in the air, emitting a pink aura that seemed to fix her surroundings. Chat looked around in astonishment. No damage was done. He looked at Ladybug, and brought out his fist again. This gained Ladybug's attention. He did this when they met, so she mouthed.
Pound it.
It was at this moment that Chat Noir's stomach did flips. And all of a sudden Adrien Agreste, the boy who was known as Chat Noir when he wore his mask, wanted to know who this girl was. For she was a silent, mysterious yet miraculous beauty, who may have just stolen his heart.
It was also evident that he really wanted to learn Sign Language now.

A week passed when Marinette received the surprise of her life. It was the end of a school day when Adrien Agreste came up to her and smiled at her before signing.
"How are you?"
Marinette switched to Adrien's face, then his hands, and again his face.
Adrien laughed at her surprised nature. Her hands were suddenly shaking as she pointed to him.
He nodded in response. A hug was the only response she could give. She couldn't believe it, a boy she had only known for a short while, went out of his way to learn sign language. The boy who she found out was a model for his father's company, the boy who she now viewed as kind and sweet by nature. She could feel the blood pumping in her ears when she realised her actions, pulling away and signing Sorry. Luckily to Adrien, he understood what she signed, for he was still trying to learn. However, little to Adrien's knowledge, and to the surprise of Marinette, she felt she could very well like this boy who has just showed her immense kindness.

Marinette's alter ego, Ladybug, slowly began to grow popularity. People were noticing the girl dressed in red and black working along side Chat Noir. So interviews were soon evident at the new found hero. So both Chat and Ladybug were caught off guard when an assortment of press rushed towards them after they stopped another Akuma. A wave of questions was sent their way before Chat turned to ladybug, briefly signing their questions the best he could. It has been a good few weeks since he started learning sign language as Adrien, and he was indeed a fast learner.
"Asking for your name."
"About the recent attack"
"How we met."
Ladybug didn't have time to be surprised, for the reporters was intrigued by the interaction. Chat put a hand on Ladybug's shoulder.
"My Lady here, is Ladybug. She is deaf and is my...shall I say...Pawtner in crime."
Ladybug read his lips, and was briefly confused at the last sentence, but she saw the reporters were laughing, but suddenly excited. This was indeed a story worth covering. A real power duo, and an interesting one at that.
After Chat and Ladybug answered their questions, they were left alone. This was when Ladybug looked up at Chat, confusion written on her face. Chat saw this and signed.
"Hard to sign to you in battle."
This made sense to Ladybug. Obviously, he hadn't had a chance to talk to her in a such a way, for their time together is always short, considering their Miraculous' have a transformation time limit.
She didn't question how he learned, when he learned, or where he learned sign language. But she brought out fist, allowing him to fist bump her.
She smiled at his moving lips.
Pound it.
