What just happened to us?

Chapter Two

I stepped out of the truck onto the rocky, uneven mountain. I immediately got an eerie feeling. Something bad is going to happen. My mind said. I ignored it. I got out my camera and began filming.
"Hey guys, today Jake, Tessa, Kade, and us triplets are on this mountain where UFO sightings have been. And the movie Phoenix Forgotten is based of this area." I looked to Jake who said we were waiting until dark. I cuddled up to him while he filmed. It was freezing. I grabbed my camera again as it began to become pitch black. I looked at the moon. "This is sketchy. The moon is full." I pointed my camera to the moon. I then pointed my camera at myself and began speaking. I had my light on my camera on. It blinded me for a second. "We're going in the direction where the movie was filmed which is where the sightings were reported." I said. I then pointed my camera towards the ground. Jake stood up higher than us.
"Dude." He then yelled and fell.
"JAKE!" I screamed running over there. I saw him laughing. I smacked his arm.
"Dude, this is serious, don't joke like that." I yelled. He stood up and pulled me into his side.  He kissed the side of my head.
"I'm sorry, babe."

"Dude, look at this." There was an arrow on the ground.

"It's an alien arrow." Jake said. Tessa and I looked at each other and began giggling.
"Alien arrow?" We said together.
"Guys, aside all alien jokes. This is serious." Kade said. We immediately stopped laughing.
"Well, like in scary movies, let's follow the arrow." Jake said. We continued walking. A light appeared ahead of us. It was flashing.
"What the hell is that?" I said. Jake and Kade investigated it on their cameras. I pointed my camera towards it. We started walking towards it. I held onto Jake's arm as we walked. I was freezing and I was terrified. As we were walking there was an object in the sky. I turned my camera of and filmed it.

"Oh my gosh. It's a fucking UFO!" I exclaimed. Jake was in shock too. It then flew up and disappeared. We continued walking forward. We then stumbled upon a rock pattern.

"Yo!" I said. I pointed my camera at it, going towards the center following Jake. I held onto him, his arm around my waist as we looked around. "Jake, I wanna go home." I began sobbing. He held onto my waist tighter. I then looked up, moving my camera. I froze when I saw red paint. It looked like blood from this far away.

The paint was fresh. Jake and I began running back to the others.
"Dude the paint is wet." Jake said. We began running back in the direction we came. As we got closer to the truck, there was a flashing red light.
"What is that?" I asked.
"Go back." Jake pushed me into a bush, Tessa, Ivan, Emilio and Kade followed.

Jake left to go get service. I was 'cuddled' into Ivan and Emilio. They were shaking just as much as I was. I let out a shaky breath.
"I wanna go home." I whimpered. Ivan and Emilio squeezed me tighter, also bringing Tessa into our group hug.
"We'll go home once Jake gets back." Ivan said, stumbling a little over his words since he and Emilio are newer to the English language than I am. I heard Jake coming back. I jumped up and ran into his arms. He kissed my head.
"We have to pass the light to get to the truck." Tessa said.
"I'll go." Jake said.
"No! We need to stay together." Tessa said. Once the light went out we began running towards the truck. As we were passing where the light was, a bright light, brighter that any light I've ever seen before, appeared.

I latched onto Ivan and Emilio and began running with them. We were ahead of everyone else so we didn't notice Jake went back. Us three made it to the truck, and climbed into the back, Kade then jumped into the front and Tessa climbed into the back with us. I saw Jake running as fast as he could. He jumped into the driver's seat, started the truck and sped off. He kept driving until we got to a gas station. He and Kade got out, charging their camera batteries. I sat in Ivan's lap with my head on his chest and my feet in Emilio's lap. Jake came to the driver door.
"How are you guys feeling?" He asked. He was filming.
"I wanna go home." Tessa said. Her voice was shaky from crying. I stayed quiet. I was tired, scared and cold. I felt my eyes begin to droop as Ivan played with my hair. Since we're all triplets this isn't that weird. I mean, we have hardly been separated since birth so if I feel like sleeping this way, then I'm going to.
