Nico di'Angelos prophecy

Chapter 15

Olympia Berenice:

Me and Nico layed on our stomachs, enjoying the perfect day. Well, I was I didn't know about Nico. He looked lost in his head with a scowl on his pale face.

  I felt a kind of cold shiver through the air. I rubbed my arms, trying to get my heat back. I glanced at Nico. A kind of weird shadow was forming around him. The same kind that I seen when I was at the motel, in the hall way.

  I felt a hollow feeling in my gut. This was the same guy that attacked me in the motel room.

  I said to Nico shaky "That thing man from the motel is here".

  Nico jumped up and pulled his sword. He pushed me behind him.

  The mans face was as dark as the darkest night and it wasn't getting any lighter.

  "Stay behind me!" Nico's voice was ruff. I wasn't planning on leaving his side any time soon anyway.

  "So, we meet again daughter of Poseidon. You were almost in my grasps in till this little imbecile had to get his friend to save you." He smiled a gruesome smile at Nico, who only seemed to become more rigged.

  "I am fully capable of chopping your head off again, my self." His voice came out low and menacing.

  But the man's smile only got deeper.

  "Yes, show her your true nature. Who you really are. Then maybe you two can go prancing of into the sunset afterwards."

  I looked at Nico back "What is he talking about? Your true nature?"

  "Forget about that. I'm a different person then I used to be. He's trying to make you scared of me so it will be easier to manipulate you."

  Nico did have a point. This man was scary, no doubt, and I have known Nico longer than the man.

  "I'm not leaving you. And I'm not scared or never will be-of you." I tried to sound brave for the both of us, but my voice was shaky.

  Nico seemed to contradict what I was saying, but he regained control and stared down the dark man.

  "Who are you, and what do you want?" Nico said threw a scowl.

  "I'm everyone and no one. All your nightmares. Everything that ever happened wrong to you. The vengeance that hides in the bowels of your heart. I am the thing that keeps you from your wishes." He spread his milk white hands out at his sides.

  "And im here for the girl."

  I grasped on to Nico's shirt. He detected my uneasiness and backed up into my hand.

  "Your not touching her. No one is taking her anywhere." He said calmly.

  The man chuckled then crossed his arms.

  "The boss won't like it if I don't bring her back this time. And you see she is someone you don't want to make cross. So lets make life a little easier for a while and hand her over."

  Nico shook his head.

  "Not happening."

  I was getting scared. The man was giving off a strange vibe. I could feel my heart rate quicken. Nico seemed to pick up on that to.

  "Now shall we settle this now or are you gonna run away like the chicken you are?" He rushed his words.

  The man looked off into the woods and seemed to space out. His face changed into a slightly darker version. I started to realize that he...was talking to someone in his head.

  He looked back at us like he couldn't believe we were still there. The creepy smile plastered itself on his face again.

  "Well the Boss would be calling me back now. Pleasure like always. See you soon."

  And with that he disappeared into a cloud of smoke and sparkles.

  Nico turned to face me and his eyes were hard.

  "You need to see Rachel. Right now."
