An Awkward Moment

One Shot

On a cool, summer Wednesday, I thought I would have a normal, quiet day, but I was so wrong. It would turn out to be one of the most awkward moments in my entire life.

My friend, Zaaki, had left her books in my locker so I decided that we would fetch them after school. We got there and were shocked to find the two boys that we liked. A girl in our class, Lily, was also there. Zaaki and I did not know what we were going to do, since the boys we liked were right there. Zaaki started to freak out. Lily shouted our names when we came closer to my locker. Sam and Andrew, the boys we liked, then stared at us like we are aliens. Lily ran up to Andrew and asked him why he was so tall. She then laughed in his face. She made jokes the whole time and we laughed very loud. Andrew and Sam just ignored us while they talked to each other.

That was one of the most horrible and awkward moments I have ever experienced in my entire life. Our crushes probably thought that we were weird and crazy people. Afterwards I realised how uncomfortable it was for them. Zaaki told me that we were really stupid to make fools of ourselves in front of them. It was a real awkward moment.
