As i walked to the office i thought about what my new life here would be like. It hadn't been long since me and mom moved out here to get away from the past that stains my future. I was snapped out of my thoughts as i bumpt into a very familiar someone."i'm sorry i wasn't looking where i was going are you alright?"i said with concern in my voice"i'm fine are you okay?"he said helping me up"yeah i guess"after all my atemps at apologizing we mad small talk. I told him i was new to the school he introduced himself as Huey freeman he told me he had a younger brother named Riley i also found out that huey was 17 only one year older than me and riley 15. I was so lost in conversation with huey i hadn't realized the bell had rung till everyone that was once in the hallway were no longer there."huey?..."i asked"what is it?" He replied in a stern voice" do you mind helping me find my classrooms i'm a little lost" i said with a slight giggle"i dont mind"he said reaching for my schedule as i took it out of my bag."seems like you have all your classes with me"he said as he gave it back"just stick with me" he said as we reached a room full of teens. Eveyone looked at me as i walked in it made me feel weird most likely because i was accustomed to this type of attention i took my seat at the back of the class near an window."this is gonna be a long year"i mumbled under my breath as huey took his seat next to me.
