CHAPTER 1

Becca's POV

"Becca hurry up we're late!" My mom shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

"I don't even want to go to this stupid dinner!" I yelled back in response.

"Becca Elizabeth Taylor! Get your butt down here right now!" And now she's pissed...

This is going to be the first night where I actually want to kill myself from boredom. My dad is making my mom, sister, and I all go to some stupid dinner meeting and I'm really not looking forward to it. I could be having fun with my friends tonight, but no I have to wear a dress and heels, 2 things I despise, and then I get to waste a perfectly good Saturday night.

I headed down stairs before I got into anymore trouble.

"Took you long enough." My dad informed me.

I just gave him a side smirk and walked out the door. "Way to go at pissing mom off. She's being rude to all of us now." My sister Katherine told me.

"I really don't care Katherine." I stated then walked a little faster towards the car so I could get away from her.

~Wow I feel so loved by my family...~ I texted my friend Sarah. I guess you could say we're more like sisters. We are pretty much inseparable. She's my closest friend, and I know I can go to her for anything.

~What did they do now?~ She asked.

~I'll tell you tomorrow when I go to your house.~

~Alrighty.~

*****

We just pulled into the restaurants parking lot. It's a nice looking place. The dinner is being held at Caraba's. The only thing is is that I'm not really into fancy things like fancy restaurants or fancy clothes. It's just not my forte.

Soon we were walking into Caraba's crowded with millions of business people. Yeah, so not my forte. I can already tell this night is going to suck. I mean what 16 year old wants to be with a bunch of old people in suits? I swear, next time my dad has another dinner meeting I am not going, it's just not going to happen. The only thing that is keeping me sane right now is my earbuds, my phone, and the sweet music coming out of it.

All was good and well until I slammed into someone. I looked up and didn't even hesitate to check out the hard looking chest that I face planted, the abs underneath that tight white t-shirt, and the blue jeans that fit just right. It took me awhile to realize that I was eye raping the poor guys' body. I forced my self to look up at his face, that didn't really help though because I soon got lost in his gorgeous emerald green eyes, and the beautiful short dark brown hair that just tops off his whole look. He looked like he was around my age probably 16 or 17. Then I once again realized that I was eye raping him. It didn't take long for me to feel my cheeks warm up from blushing, I wouldn't be surprised if it looked like someone just painted red paint all over my face.

"Oh, um.. sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going..." I said so fast I didn't think he would be able to understand.

"It's okay, I wasn't paying any attention either." He chuckled. "You're so cute when you blush." That sort of took me off guard. I didn't really know what to say to that so I just stared up into those mesmerizing eyes of his. "That was really weird... I'm sorry, I probably just freaked you out right now. We don't even know each other, wow I feel stupid." He rambled.

"It's fine, I thought it was sweet." I smiled. "So who are you here with?" I asked curiously.

"I'm here with my family, my dad is the owner of his company and he's having some type of dinner meeting here." He explained. "Who are you here with?"
