Summary: (y/n) brings him home and introduces him to her family. He finds out she has a brother named Randy.

Today is the day you introduce your boyfriend of almost eight months to your family. They're all good people, but they're very protective of you, especially when it comes to guys. And let's say your brother can be... uh, slightly intimidating.

You didn't warn Randy about them because you didn't want to make it even more nerve wrecking than it already is.

"Are you nervous, babe?" You break the silence that had settled in the car.

"Uh? No. I mean, yeah, a little bit." He stammers, his grip tightening on the wheel. "I just... it's my first time meeting them and their first judgement will count a lot."

"I know. But they'll love you as much as I do. You'll see." You assure him, shooting him a small smile, as you rub his thigh reassuringly.

Soon, silence settled back in and neither of you dared to break it, both lost in your thoughts, and nervous for your own reasons.

Randy is nervous because he thinks your family won't approve of him; he's been listing all his features that are listed as trouble in all parents' books: his tattoos, the fact that he's a wrestler, the fact that he plays a bad guy on TV, and the list goes on. You are nervous because you know how your dad and brother are when meeting a boyfriend. Anyway, you're still hoping they'll surprise you and accept him quickly.

Finally, you have reached your destination. Randy parks the car, stopping the engine right after, but neither of you moves.

"Let's do this?" He smiles softly, taking your hand in his.

"Yeah." You lean over the console to peck his lips.

Randy gets out of the car and heads to your side, opening your door. Once you're out, he intertwines your fingers with his as you head for the front door of your parents' house.

You take a deep breath before knocking on the door gently. Randy's grip on your hand tightens when you hear the doorknob working and opening the door, revealing your father.

"My sweet girl, I missed you." He gushes, pulling you for a hug. You hug him back, but never releasing Randy's hand. Finally, your dad pulls back. "And this should be your boyfriend."

"Yes, dad. This is Randy. Randy, this is my dad." You motion between the two of them, discreetly observing their reactions.

"Hello, Sir. It's very nice to meet you." Randy smiles, somehow sounding confident, as he extends his hand. Your dad looks between him and his hand, but ends up shaking it.

"It's nice to meet you too, son." He says, before releasing his hand and turning to you again. "C'mon, sweetie, let's get inside. Your mom will join us later, and your brother is eager to see you."

'Okay, he called him son... that has to be a good sign.' You think, somehow trying to convince yourself.

Your brother approaches Randy, slightly towering above him, looking him down as he appeared to be taken aback by this.

"I'm Randy, (Y/N)'s brother." He informs, coldly, extending his hand out to your boyfriend, who took it.

"I'm Randy, (Y/N)'s boyfriend." Randy spits back, shaking his hand. You could tell your brother was putting extra strength in it, considering both their hands were turning white and neither stepped back.

The four of you made small talk until it was time to have dinner. Well, mostly you, your dad and your brother, because Randy was unusually quiet. Then, your mom arrived, and she was pretty much the only one who treated Randy nicely.

Dinner passed by quickly, and not much talk occurred during it. If you called a "Randy" to pass you the salt or anything, they'd both turn and exchange some glares, creating some awkwardness, so you decided to just be quiet.

You said goodbye to your parents; your mom being once again the warmest of the both, as she hugged both you and Randy with a big smile on her face.

Surprisingly enough, your brother was waiting for you outside by the front door. For a few seconds, you were scared shitless that he'd try to provoke Randy or something, so you took his hand in yours. But he didn't. For the contrary.

"I only have one question. Maybe two." He declares, facing Randy, who just nods, urging him to continue. "Do you have any intentions of hurting my sister?"

"What? No. Not ever." Randy replies, shock filling his features.

"Okay, good. Because if you do, I'll kill you." Your brother warns, menacingly. "Question 2: do you love my sister?"

"Yes, I do. More than anything." Randy answers in a heartbeat.

"Okay, man. That's all I wanted to know. Take care of her. It was nice meeting you." Your brother says, genuinely, as he extends his hand once more.

"I will. It's nice meeting you too, man." Randy shakes his hand, smiling softly. You can't bring yourself to utter a word, shocked yet relieved with the sudden turn of events.

Once they break contact, Randy starts heading to the car, but you leave his hand and lean up for a quick hug with your brother. He gets the hint and goes wait for you by the car, giving you alone time.

"Thank you, bro." You whisper against his ear. When you pull back, he has a small smile on your face, as he motions you to go join Randy.

Once you're settled in the car, Randy sighs heavily with a small on his face, and what he says next has you giggling endlessly.

"Babe, your brother is one scary son of a bitch."
