Chapter 6

Hey guys, I am back with another chapter.

Me: So, who missed me?

Angry mob: We did.

Me: Wow, you guys came quick.

Angry mob: Where have you been?

Me: Stuff with family, and I had this thing called a cold.

Angry mob: That's no excuse! (grabs pitchforks)

Me: Shot, got to go. (runs off)

Angry mob: (chases after her) Get back here!

Tad, Bill, and Gideon were talking about where they should put Dipper. "We don't have enough room on this ship, for that big tank." Tad said.

"I know...but the boy needs water, and we can't let him go. So..." Bill stated.

"So we put him in something else." Gideon added.

"Yeah, but what?" Tad asked.

"Oh..I know." Bill said as he walked to a storage place. Two minutes later, he came back with something in his hands. "Will this do?" Bill asked as he held up a wooden tub.

"That will work." Tad said.

"But where would we put him?" Gideon asked.

"My room." Bill said.

"Why your room?" Gideon asked.

"Do you have a better idea?" Bill asked.

Gideon thought for a little bit, then said, "Good point there."

"Ok...then it's settled, the boy stays with Bill." Tad said. "Now, let's get to work."

Time Skip

A few hours later, Dipper was sitting in the tub, in Bill's room. He was looking at the sea through a window. Thinking of his family, and friends. He thought, I wonder if they're looking for me. This made him think back to the accident.

Flash back

Five year old Dipper had found everyone, but Star. All three of them, where close to finding her, when they heard a craking sound. "What was that?" Mabel said.

"I don't know, but it sounded bad." Dipper said. Then they heard it again. They all screamed. (screaming sounds)

"I think that the cave is going to collapse!" Leo said.

"I think you're right." Mabel said back.

"Let's get out of here." Dipper said, and they all did. Well almost all of them. But, when the three of them made it outside, they were met by their parents.

"Oh thank god, you're all okay." Dipper and Mabel's mom said.

"Wait...where's Star?" Leo and Star's mom asked.

"Gasp...she is still inside!" Leo yelled as he turned around to face the cave.

"You all stay right here, we'll be back with Star soon." Leo and Star's dad said. And with that, all four parents went into the cave to find Star.

End of flash back

Dipper was pulled out of his thoughts, when he heard a door closed. He jumped, thinking that he was still with George. That was until he heard, "Relax... it's just me." Bill said, and Dipper did. Bill went over to Dipper, and bent down to face him. "Gideon told me that you haven't eaten in five days. So I brought you food." He paused, "that is, if you are hungry." Dipper was about to say no, but his stomach said otherwise. "I will take that as a yes then." Bill then held out a drumstick for Dipper to take. Dipper didn't take it, he just stared at it. "Why aren't you taking it? Don't you want it?" Bill asked. Dipper looked at Bill for a little bit, then he took a deep breath.

"I don't like meat." Dipper said.

"What?" This took Bill back. He thought all sirens ate meat. "I don't get it? I thought your kind ate humans." Bill said.

"We only eat humans if we don't have enough food. So most of the time, we eat fish, and other things we find in the reef." Dipper said. "And anyway, I don't eat meat."

This surprised Bill. He never knew that about sirens. Maybe, if he made the siren happy, he could get more information about them. "Ok, I will be right back." Bill said.

Time Skip

Bill came back with a salad. And he did the same thing he did with the drumstick. Dipper hesitated at first, then he decided to take the food. But, before he could reach the food, Bill pulled it away. "I want to make a deal with you first." Bill said.

"W-what do y-you want?" Dipper asked.

"I will give you food, if you tell me more about sirens." Bill said. Dipper didn't respond. "Well, if you don't want to, then I guess you're not as hungry as I thought." Bill stopped, then added, "I will come back when you are more hungry then." He then got up, and started to walk to the door. He was about to open the door, when he heard,

"Stop!" Dipper yelled.

"Yes?" Bill asked, as he turned to face Dipper.

"If I tell you things about sirens, you will give me food?" Dipper asked.

"Yes, that is what I said." Bill answered back. "So do we have a deal?" Bill asked, as he held out his hand to Dipper. Dipper thought for a little bit, then,

"Deal." Dipper said, as he took Bill's hand. Bill then gave Dipper the salad, and he ate it like crazy. Bill waited until Dipper was done, before he asked his question. A few minutes later, and Dipper was done. "Ok, what do you want to know?" Dipper asked. Bill had to think. He didn't aspec for the siren to be so corroborated. He looked at Dipper, then at his tail. He saw a scar on it.

"What happened to your tail?" Bill finally asked.

Dipper took a deep breath, "That is a long and painful story."
