Secrets revealed

When I get home I don't bother calling out to mum to see if she's home. (Her car isn't in the driveway) I just run up to my room and flop onto my bed and let out tears that have been held back all day.

I cry so much I get a head ache which gets me to stop. Stupid Aaron should've just let me die. It would have been better. I wouldn't of had to see Aaron being pulled right out from under my nose. Watch him fall in love with a girl who's going to break him over and over again until he's broken so much he can't be fixed.

As soon as I can I'm going to move out of this place. Far away. To some country on the other side of the world. Australia maybe? No too hot. Malaysia? Too many bugs... England. I'll live in England.

I hear a car pull up in the drive way and assume it's mom.

I walk down the stairs to help with the groceries, if she has any.
I open the door only to be barrelled over by Justin and Danny.

'Oh hey guys. I thought you were my mum,'
Justin looks at me. Examining my face. He knows. He always does.
'Can we do something?' Danny asks.

I look to Justin who keeps looking at me. 'Let's watch another movie,' I say 'You can choose. But no horrors! I hate them,' I mutter. Danny smiles cheekily and runs into my living room.

'You ok?' Justin asks, walking over to me and caresses my face. I feel like he's a magnet and I'm the metal. Falling into him. 'No,' I whisper.
His face falls and I let his arms wrap around me.

Our chests rise and fall at the same time and I feel my happiness coming back.
'I want to know,' he says.
I pull away. 'Do you want to know everything?'
He nods.
'Danny!' I call. I want him to know we haven't left him. 'We're outside, if you need anything help yourself!'
'Okie dokey!' He yells back and I let a small smile appear.

'Come on,' I walk outside to the backyard and sit down on the porch Justin following me. And I tell him. About Aaron finding me on the ground. The hospital. Avalon and the feelings I've developed for Justin...
At the last part Justin just blinks at me. And then he leans in. I lean in. And Danny leans in...

'Come on guys! Time to watch the movie,' Danny pulls me up and I let out a excited giggle. 'What's the movie?'

Danny smiles evilly and I let my head fall backwards and groan. Danny laughs then runs back inside. I smile after him.
Then I turn back to Justin and crash into him.
'Gosh. Your close,' I whisper, suddenly feeling very vulnerable. He smiles down at me and puts his hands on my cheeks and pulls me towards his lips.
When they touch it's nothing like I've ever felt. So many fireworks. I let myself fall into him, my body screaming for more. We both pull away to breathe and we're both smiling like idiots. Justin has the most beautiful smile.

I let my hand glide over his cheek then pull away. Still smiling I turn my back and walk inside with new found confidence.

My alarm screams at me to get up. Along with my mother.
'Araon's here, Alexis! Get up!'
I rub my eyes and walk down stairs as I am.
That bloody Annabelle movie kept me up all night. Curse you Danny.

When I get down I see Araon looking as amazing as ever, with Danny and Justin behind him. I sneak a look at Justin my heart flutters when he winks at me.
'Morning boys. Had breakfast?' I ask
'Nut. I'm starved,' Danny says and runs into the kitchen. 'I'll take care of them mum. You go have some relax time,' I say, my hand resting on her shoulder lightly. She smiles 'I'm fine with making them breakfast-'
'Go! How long has it been since you've seen Jean?' I ask referring to mums old work friend.
'A few years...'
'Exactly! Go see her!'
'But she might not like me anymore!' Mum whines.
'Nonsense! Go out and see her. I can take care of myself,'
'And if anything does happen, we'll take care of her,' Justin puts in. This seems to put my mums decision in place. 'Fine. I'll go out. But if anything happens...'
'I know, I know! Now go!' I push mum out the door and hand her keys.
'Bye!' I wave, she laughs and it's the first time I've seen mum so happy in a long time.

Once she leaves the driveway I close the door. 'Alright. Now why are we all here?'
'We need to talk,' Araon says grabbing my hand a dragging me to my lounge.
