The blind girl

The hospital

Naru pov~
As the girl Mai stood up and started to walk she fainted.
I knew the reason why. She used too much of her PK power. She has even more than me and it seems like she has no anchor to help her like what Gene does with me.
"Lin we're taking her to the hospital. It's pretty obvious she'll need to be brought there. Also I want you to look into her past. Someone shouldn't have that much PK without an anchor. It's extremely dangerous. Gene see if you can some how see if she can enter the astral plane like you can." I said.
Lin and Gene nodded knowing that I was going to try and recruit her for SPR.
We went to our car and Lin drive us to the hospital. As he pulled up I ran to go and get a medic and they immediately took her in and examined her then put her into a room.
"What is her relationship to you?" The nurse asked.
"We are friends. She is a foster kid and she was leaving her house today to live on her own." I said stretching the truth a bit.
"What about her previous guardians?" The nurse asked.
"They are the reason she's here so I suggest not calling them at any point." I said.
"That is disturbing. She's been here before but she refused to tell us who injured her. We know her foster parents. We will call the police and have them arrested for child abuse. Especially to a blind kid." The nurse said.
That caught my attention. This girl was blind and she was planning on living on her own? I guess that's why her adoptive parents took her. More money from the state.
I walked back to where Lin and Gene were sitting.
"What did the nurse say?" Gene asked.
"This isn't her her first time here. Although she's here from power exhaustion she usually comes here from abuse from her adoptive family. Also she was planning on moving into her own house, but she's blind. I don't see how that possible but it sure is troubling" I said.
"So that's what that guy meant by calling her a piece of trash." Gene said.
"It disgusts me. I can tell the only reason they adopted her was for money. Think about it.  If you adopt a child the state pays you but with a disabled child they pay twice as much." I said showing my anger and disgust.

"Poor poor girl. She's had to have gone through so much in her life." Gene said.\

"Yes and I was thinking of having her live with us. We can teach her how to control her powers and she can have somewhere stable to live. I know we won't be Japan for long, but we can take her back to England. Although I'm sure mother would try to convince Mai to let her adopt her." I said while thinking of multiple things I could do for her.

"That's a great idea." Gene said.

Both of us looked towards Lin to see what he thought.

"It may be tricky, but I'm sure that we call your Mother and Father to see what they think." Lin said.

We both nodded and let him go to off to the side to call up Mother and Father.

~Time Skip~

Lin came back towards us and nodded.

"They said they would come to Japan and meet Mai." Lin said.

I nodded.

"Waiters for Mai, She has woken up." A nurse said walking out.

We walked to the room that Mai was in and knocked before entering.

"Hello my Name is Oliver, this is my twin brother Eugene, and our friend Lin." I said in my cold emotionless voice.

"Hello. If you hadn't already figured it out, my name is Mai. Thank you for helping me with them." She said.

I nodded.

"The doctors here told me that you were blind." I said.

"They are correct. I lost my sight in a car accident." Mai said.

"Ok. So you said that you were going to move out of those people's house, but we have a proposition." I said.

"What kind of proposition?" Mai asked suspiciously.

"We will let you live with us and we will teach you how to control your insane amount of Pk." I said.

"Ok, but what do I give in return?" She asked.

"My parents are coming here to Japan and they would like to meet you. The only problem is that you would have to go to England." I said.

"That sounds fair, but how will I get there if I'm blind and why do your parents want to meet me?" Mai asked.

"You will go with us on a plain and my parents always wanted to adopt a girl, but they never had the chance after adopting my brother and I." I said.

"I will have to spend time with them before I let them adopt me, but that doesn't sound so bad." Mai sai.

Sorry it took me so long to update. I was doing a bunch of stuff and I have been stressed out, but everything has calmed down so I can now update.
