{Olive's POV}
   Enoch and the new girl lock eyes. 'Oh no, not today, not ever.' I thought angrily but I didn't show an angry expression. I saw her eyes changing from purple to... pink? Does that mean love? 'Great now she might like him. Fan-freaking-tastic. I have competition.. wait! He's mine, that's right! That girl doesn't stand a chance!' I was awoken from my thoughts by Miss Peregrine.

   "Introduce yourself and your peculiarity." She snapped at me.

   "I'm Olive and I catch fire to anything I touch." I say with obvious annoyance in my voice.

{Your POV}

   "This is (Y/N) everyone, introduce yourselves and your peculiarities, children." Miss Peregrine says softly to the kids, smoking her pipe.

Silence.

   An invisible boy started to speak up, "I'm Millard, and well, obviously I'm invisible," he laughs, "nice to meet you (Y/N)." I smile in response, and hopefully he smiled back.

   A little girl with blonde, curly pigtails spoke up, "I'm Claire," she blushed and looked at me with worry. She looked almost scared to tell me what her peculiarity was. "It's okay, I won't judge, don't worry." I reassured her. She looked up at me and smiled, then turned around to lift up her hair, revealing a second mouth with scarily pointy teeth.

   "Wow that's so interesting Claire!" I smiled at her and she skipped back to the group of children.

   A little girl with brown curls walked up to me and lifted me off my feet, I giggled in response. "I'm Bronwyn, you can call my Wyn, nice to meet you (Y/N)." She said and put me back down.

   A young blonde boy dressed in a lovely suit introduced himself very formally, "Hello, I'm Horace, charmed to meet you." I smiled, "And my peculiarity is me being able to project my dreams onto a screen, and sometimes they're premonissive. That's how we knew you were coming here." He smiled, shook my hand and sat back down.

   A boy with a bee crawling around his face introduced himself, trying his best to conceal the bees in his mouth. "I'm Hugh, and well, I have bees living inside me." I grinned awkwardly since I have a deathly fear of bees, spite the fact I'm not allergic.

   A girl, about the same age as Hugh, with dirty blonde French braids spoke up, "Hi I'm Fiona, and I can grow any type of flower, plant, or even food that grows from the ground." I smile as she grows me a peony, and I pick it.

   "This is beautiful Fiona. Thank you." I say, smelling the beautiful flower.

   Two boys, who I'm guessing are twins, stood up, but had masks over their faces, so Miss Peregrine introduced them. "These are the twins, they have to wear these masks for our safety, because if they'd happen to make eye contact with anyone, that person would turn instantly to stone." She said sternly, with no expression or emotions visible on her face.

   A blonde girl, about my age, introduced herself next, "I'm Emma, and I'm lighter than air, so I have to wear these led boots to keep me down to earth." She smiled with genuine care visible in her eyes.

   The next girl, a red headed girl, was obviously lost in her thoughts. Miss Peregrines had to practically wake her up.

   "Introduce yourself and your peculiarity." She snapped at the girl.

   "I'm Olive, and I catch fire to anything I touch." She said, obviously annoyed, and not wanting to be here.

   Last but not least, him. He spoke up, "Im Enoch, and I can reanimate anything with the right tools." He said, also sounding slightly annoyed, but to an extreme lesser degree than Olive had sounded.

   Finally, it came time to introduce myself and my peculiarities. "Well you all know my name," the little kids nodded anxiously, "and I have 3 peculiarities." They looked shocked, yet very intrigued. "For one thing, my eyes, they turn different colors based on my emotions and bodily stability." All the children stared deeply into my eyes. "Second, I have telekinesis, also known as being able to move stuff with my mind. And finally," I say, taking my backpack off, finally being able to spread my wings, "I have seraph wings." They all stared in awe, except for Enoch and especially Olive. I could tell she already didn't like me. I smiled at everyone, then Miss Peregrine dismissed them.

   Olive walked up to me, looking annoyed, I can almost feel what she's gonna say to me next.

   "I saw you eyeing Enoch, my boyfriend." She snapped at me.

   "I'm not dating her." Enoch commented from the stairwell. She gives him a look, probably reading something like 'say I'm yours or else' this chick thinks she's scaring me, 'oh honey, you'll have to try a lot harder than that to scare me, especially after what I've been through. Try me.' I thought angrily.

   "Well if he says you two aren't a thing, then I guess you're not." I smiled sarcastically at her making her even more mad. She sighed angrily and shoved past me to the kitchen.

   "Yeah thanks for that, she gets extremely clingy, especially for the fact that I'm not together with her. She just helps me in my lab." He states, his Scottish accent almost melting me.

   "Yeah I could figure that out pretty easily when she saw my eyes turn pin--- never mind." I quickly changed my mind and blushed. "Can you show me my room please? I'd like to rest, yit took awhile to get here." And at that, he rolled his eyes, but motioning for me to follow.
