{Your POV}
"That turned out a lot better than it could have." Enoch said, smirking at me. Which I knew by his expression, we got let off easy. I smiled as he pulled me into another embrace, this one being closer than it ever was before, more love in this one embrace than I've received for the past 6 years. We let go of the embrace, and I looked at him in the eyes, and I could tell he cared, unlike my father. I started to tear up at the thought and he immediately noticed,
"What's wrong, flower?" He asked me, noticing my irises turning a different color, most likely. He cupped my cheeks, acting as if he were gonna pull me into a kiss, but didn't, actually I was kind of glad, I couldn't do it right now.
"Is it your father?" He asked, worry surrounding his Scottish accent, and I nodded in response. A single tear fell down my face, him wiping it with his thumb gracefully. We both look up when we hear a knock on the door, who could that be?
"(Y/N), Enoch? It's almost time for dinner, get ready you two." Miss Peregrine announced to us.
"Alright Miss Peregrine. We'll be down." I said trying not to sound sad. Then I heard her heels clicking away. Then I looked back at Enoch, tempted to ask him that one question burning in my mind. So I did.
"Enoch, can I ask you something?" I said, irises probably turning a deep orange, standing for wonder and curiosity. Then he nodded, looking into my eyes in wonder.
"Are we... a couple?"
{Enoch's POV}
"Are we... a couple?" She asked, voice shaky, and almost cracking. 'Wow, I've never even thought about that, what did those two kisses make us?' I looked down, trying to think, maybe we were a couple maybe we weren't, but I wanted to make it official.
"Flower, will you be my... girlfriend?"
