Ted x Chris (KnT)

Chapter 3

Chris's POV:

We watched movies for the next few hours. Foofy was laying on my chest asleep as I stared at the TV, the current movie coming to an end. Once the credits started rolling Nick got up from his chair and stretched.

"I should probably get going. My parents wanted me to go out to dinner with them and my little sister." Nick tells us. Ted gets up and walks over to him. They walk over to the front door and Nick slipped his shoes on before looking at me.

"Hope you get well soon Chris." He says with a smile before walking out the door, Ted following him closing it behind them. I didn't doubt that they were kissing on the other side of the bloody door... I sighed, undeniably jealous of Nick. I really wish Ted felt the same way for me as I did him... I heard the door open and Ted walked back into the house.

"Its past noon, you hungry? I can make you something." He tells me

"Do we have any fish?" I ask looking up at him with a sulking expression.

"Yeah, we have some salmon in the freezer. How about that with some cooked carrots?" He asks as he walks towards the kitchen.

"Sounds good to me." I reply.

"Alright, why not take a nap while I make it for you?" He says patting my head as he walks into the kitchen.

"Ok.." I say as I rest my head on the pillow and stare at the tv for a few before I slowly close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

Ted's POV:

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the salmon and carrots as well as a pot and pan. While I waited for the salmon to thaw in a bowl of water I filled the pot with carrots and some water before placing it on the stove and turning it on. I went and sat down at the table to watch some videos while I waited.

~Half an Hour later~

The salmon was thawed so I took it out of its packaging and seasoned it before putting it in the pan I already had over a flame on the stove. After about 5 minutes the food was done and I grabbed a plate and placed the salmon on it as well as the carrots and got a glass of water. Walking into the living room I place the plate on the coffee table with the glass of water. I look over at Chris sleeping. I ended up staring at him for a few minutes. I started leaning down towards his face. He looked so peaceful and... I snapped out of my daze and realized what I was doing. I pulled back quickly blushing slightly. I shouldn't be doing this! He's my best friend and I have a boyfriend! I took a few deep breaths to calm down and looked back down at him. I reached over to his shoulder and shook him lightly.

"Chris wake up. Your foods ready." I say softly. He grumbles slightly and opens his eyes, blinking a few times. He sat up rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. I grabbed a TV tray for him to use and placed it in front of him as he sat upright on the couch. I placed the plate and glass on the TV tray and went back to the kitchen to fetch myself some watermelon.

Chris's POV:

I had the best dream during my nap. Ted and I were a couple. It was wonderful. But sadly it wasn't true... Sighing I pick up the fork and dig into my food. Ted did a great job making this. He always has been good at cooking. I watched TV as I ate. Ted came back in the room with a slice of watermelon, sitting down on the recliner and munching on it and watching TV as well. Aside from the that we sat in silence as we both ate. I should've confessed to Ted long ago but I was scared of ruining our friendship... After I finished eating I leaned back into the couch and just stared off into space. I don't know how long I was zoned out for but I was brought back by Ted's voice. I blinked a few times and looked up at him standing next to me with the cold medicine. He handed me the liquid tablets and I took them, taking a sip of water along with them. We hear a knock at the door, Ted walks over and opens it. Standing outside was a grumpy looking, as usual, Aiden.
