Okay, this is it.
I'm finally going to a date with Mark! I could still remember the day he asked me out.
I was eating lunch with my friends when he came up to me.
"Hey, _____. Can I talk to you for a bit?" He scratched his head.
"Sure." I nodded. He went first and I looked at my group of friends, giggling to death.
"He's totally going to ask you out."
"Don't smile too much, okay?"
"Oh, you have something in your teeth!"
"Yah!" I made a face.
"Just kidding. Break a leg, girl!"
"Ne! Fighting!"As soon as we finished our little episode, I followed Mark to an empty hallway.
"What's up?" Okay, _____. Just keep it cool.
"Uhm . . . I was just wondering if y-you and I . . . could . . ." Oh. My. Gosh. He's really asking me to go out with him. But, what do I say?
"Go out?" I finished his sentence. The look on his face changed. Oh no. Maybe I shouldn't have said that. Now he's going to think I'm desperate."Yeah . . . yeah! I've been checking you out lately . . . oh crap, that sounded so perverted of me! I-I'm sorry!"
"Gwaenchanha. I know what you mean."
"O-okay." How could somebody look so cute when they're stuttering? "So, uh . . . I'll pick you up at your house? 8pm, Saturday? Is that okay with you?"
"Ne." I smiled sweetly but I swear to God my inside's exploding fireworks. Now, here I am; looking at the mirror and putting my makeup on. Does it look too thin? Maybe I should add more blush. Or maybe not. I don't want to end up looking like a clown.
I wore a yellow sundress and matched it with brown wedges. Then a little bit of bling here, bling there, and voila! I'm ready to go!
I heard the doorbell ring which caused my heart to beat faster. He's here.
Taking one last look at the mirror, I patted down the wrinkles on my dress and fixed my hair that was put down and accessorized with a hairclip.
"_____, fighting!"
Slowly walking down the stairs, my heart became restless. Is this what it feels like going out on a first date? What if I mess it up? Do I run away? I hope he wouldn't look at me differently after this. But if he were to change the way he looks at me, I wish he would see me as someone more than his friend.
"Where do you think you're going, missy?" Six boys blocked my way to the door. Great, just great.
"Get out of the way."
"No please?"
"Grrr . . . can you please get out of the way?"
"No."Meet my six, loud, funny, undeniably good-looking but talented and overprotective brothers from planet extra:
