I'v never been one for crowds, for fitting in. None of us are, to begin with. But everyone has to know at least one trend setter, and i did. She was THE Girl. Well, her name was Sasha. Every guy knew her for blowing them off and if she didn't want them, no girl would. I think there were more single guys in our grade than ones with a girlfriend.

Sasha Van Camp is one trend you do not want to get in the way of. Her dad's the biggest lawyer in town and her mom is the 'all-the-way-to-zumbabwai' known fashion designer. She's also my best friend...now. But it wasn't easy and trust me, it is not what you're expecting. I'm Sabrina Peterson and this is well...a wrap. lol

I guess it all started in Junior High, with my books falling down. As it always does. The whole jock team entered the building, you could tell from all the yelling and shouting. I hated the lot of them, except my brother. Jasper joined them because he wanted to get into college and having 'footballer' on your resume helps. Well, then, that also means college also likes 'jerks' and 'ball-shooters' too. The one on the right, Kolin, was my boyfriend. We dated throughout our 'end of primary' years. I was a cheerleader, a very popular one. But, it changed me, in a bad way. I got peppy. So i left, and i left him.

I pick up my books, then another figure appeared.

'Are you ok?!' Phoebe kneels down and helps me pick them all up. I grab them and stand up, then i help her up aswell.

'Yeah, every year' I sigh and put them all back in my locker. Closing it behind me.

Phoebe wraps her arm around my shoulder and we walk down the hall.

'Hey, you know there's this new girl in our grade, her name's Sasha. Apparently she's like 'IT' material...' Phoebe explains it all out to me.

She's like a gossip scout. She starts trends on who is in and out almost everyday. She never stops. It all began when she started a gossip coloumn on the school newspaper. She made the school paper cool. Everyone who wants to be in a trend joined it, including me. It's amazing how much of these gossip pieces are true and i know it sounds so lame but it's just...not.

'....mom is a fashion designer and her dad has been ranked the top lawyer in New York City. Can you believe it?' Phoebe starts to fade in again.

'No i can't, the paper should interview her. I mean so we can find out if she's in or out' I suggest as the conversation continues to make sense to me.

Phoebe pulls to an almighty stop, pulling me far back with my arm still around her.

'That's a brilliant idea, Bree. Can you do it next week?' Phoebe asks me in that very cheerful kind of tone.

'What?' I stop.

No, No.

I look right at her, 'ok, i guess.'

What did i just say?
