Nai x Gareki Short-ish Stories

Late night snacks

Nai's P.O.V
I tiptoed quietly through the halls of the second ship, trying to find the kitchen. My stomach growled lowly as I stumbled through the dark halls. I heard a sound behind me and whipped my head around to see what it was. A sheep stood not to far away with a candle. "Time to sleep, baa~" I nodded sadly, knowing I would have to wait until breakfast to eat again. As I made my way back to the room I shared with Gareki my stomach growled again making the sheep turn and look at me. I looked at the wall embarrassed as we started walking again, reaching the room in almost no time at all.

I silently slipped inside the room shutting the door. I tiptoed to my bed trying not to wake Gareki if he was asleep. I slid under my covers only to find I couldn't sleep. I tried laying on my back but to no success. I heard Gareki shift in the top bunk and figured he might need some company. I climbed the ladder that led to his bunk and stopped on the second to last thingy on the ladder. Hirato taught me what they are but I forgot. Guess I'll have to ask Tsukumo tomorrow morning. I gently poked Gareki in the side hoping for a reaction. When I didn't get one I poked his cheek getting him to groan and look at me in annoyance. I beamed at him, "may I come up?" He sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Yeah, I guess but only for a bit." He moved a bit making room for me.

I climbed all the way up the ladder and slipped into Gareki's bed smiling to myself. I layed down next to him and nuzzled my head into his chest. He sighed and wrapped one arm around me pulling me closer. I giggled and looked up at him in enough time to see him staring at me. This made me laugh even more. His face turned red and he looked away. I sat up, worried he was getting sick. "Gareki your face is red, are you okay?" My words were laced with concern and I put my hand up to touch his forehead. "Yes Nai, I'm fine." He layed on his back and put his forearm over his eyes. I bent down slightly, placing my lips on his cheek for a mere second before sitting back up. "W-w-what was t-that for?" His face got even more red and he looked at me with wide eyes. "Yogi told me that's what you do when you really really like someone."

Gareki's P.O.V
I knew that orange haired moron had something to do with this. Not that I didn't like the kiss, it was just sudden. As I started getting deeper in thought Nai moved closer to me. Damn he was adorable. I couldn't help my self. I pulled him on top of me with my left leg resting between his. He looked at me with wide eyes filled with confusion. I smirked, "You know what else you do when you really really like someone?" He replied rather quickly, "No, what?" "This." I attached my lips to his in a slow kiss. I felt him wrap his arms around my neck to bring us closer. I put one hand behind his head and rested my other one on his lower back as I pulled away for air. We both looked at each other and smiled. "I love you Nai." "I love you too Gareki!" I leaned in again reconnecting our lips hungrily. I bit his bottom lip asking for entrance which was eagerly granted. Our tongues fought for dominance but I won. After a couple seconds we pulled away, both out of breath. I rested my forehead against his with our noses barely touching. After awhile Nai yawned and nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck. I covered both of us with the blanket, kissed the top of his head, and whispered goodnight before drifting off to sleep with him still on top of me.
