He looks at me.
He tells me how he loves my eyes, loves my smile.
Loves how I entertain him for the while.
Oh how he loves me. Yet, I feel so empty.
Why is that feeling always in the back of my mind?
The kind that says, "you're too kind"
You're not enough.
You don't deserve this so called love.
But is it love? "What is it, love?"
Is it the warmth in your heart when he holds you close?
Is it the way he says he'll never let go?
Is it the shiver you get when your fingers are intertwined?
Love will live where it can die.
He is the ground and I am the sky
And our love is the horizon.
