*Lunch time*
It was lunch time, finally. And I have it with my favorite people, Ava, Diana, Aidan. But I think someone's missing....
But let's see what I have for lunch. I open my lunchbox to see, a jelly sandwich, yogurt, some cheezits. Eh, a typical lunch.
Ava looked sad. She was usually the bubbliest of all of us.
"Ava, what's wrong?"
"Daniel said--" Oh, that's who's missing.
"Said he was going to be here..."
"Well...maybe he's late," I suggested, munching on my sandwich.
"Or maybe he's just late..," Jon suggested.
"Jon, it's lunch. Soon 3rd block will be over and we'll reach the last class of the day..."
"Maybe...he's just sick, and he's coming tomorrow..," Diana boldly commented.
"But if he was sick, he would tell me..."
"True..."
"Just don't worry, Ava. Maybe he'll come in time for the end of 3rd block...," I reassure her, finishing my yogurt.
"Let's hope...."
"Just to clarify...who's Daniel?" Jon asked, chuckles.
"Yeah, who's this Daniel?" Diana agrees.
"Ava, can you please explain to us who's Daniel?" Aidan asks.
*Ava's POV*
I should've told them who Danny was the day I met, or else I wouldn't have to go through this introduction...
"Danny--"
"Danny? You guys have nick names for each other?" Jon asks.
"Daniel is my boyfriend.."
"Aww, Ava, congratulations....," Sara awes.
"Ava, I'm so happy for you....," Diana thanks.
Nothing's the same without Danny. He's the only one that understands my pessimist self. But he's lovable at the same time. My sorta guy.
"I still can't believe that we have Mr. Lance again this year....!" Jon grunted.
"And we have the year after that and on...," Diana informed.
"Why? We already had enough of him....," I admit.
"I don't he seems like a chill teacher...," Aidan confesses.
"Aidan, did get you hit by a ball during PE?" I ask, joking.
"I'm perfectly fine, thank you," he assures.
"Budget cuts. We got to the lowest school in the district," Diana informs.
"Then why do we go here?" I ask, grumpily.
"Because our foolish parents have faith in this crummy school..."
So..Ava what happens with Charles," Jon asks, changing the topic.
"Oh. He was ugly, and he kept telling me that I wasn't good enough Broadway..."
"Oh, Ava, I'm sorry," Sara apologizes.
"It's fine..."
I was so blind to think that Charles was cute...
But thank god I got my sight checked, or else I would've ended worse than Mr. Lance. I even roast him in my thoughts. I should be a lawyer, I would be winning cases with a snap of a finger.
