**Note: this is a special chapter. In honor of @DM-40608 's birthday..I've decided to do the whole chapter with Diana's POV. Even if I do switch POV's to Mr. Lance's, Ms.Battleaxe, or anybody else's ...it will still end with Diana's.

By the way, the next chapter will a special chapter too....but let's save the intro for the next chapter...

Let's get back to Ditchwood....

Previously on 'A Crazy Freshman Year', Mr. Lance has gotten myself into a loop with Ms. Battleax, and turns to Detectives, Ava and Daniel for help. The dance is in two days and the gang still have a ton of practicing to do. And let's not forget the most unsophisticated stalker, Hank, who recently got a girlfriend...We're never practicing at Jon's house ever again... Then there's Sara..who finally got to call someone Ranger Rick. Dava and Jiana are going well for the most part...

----

*The morning before the dance*

"Do you really think that Lance likes Battleaxe?" I ask.

"Well...they are brother and sister," Ava adds.

"Half brother and sister," Jonathan adds.

"You really like doing your research, don't you," I chuckled.

"Sure do!" Jon says, in a phony Texas accent.

"What are you, a cowboy from Texas?" I ask.

"Oh no," Ava warns.

"What?"

"Ranger Rick!" Sara burst.

"What the heck?!" I asked, in confusion.

Ava pulls Jon and me to the side. "Ever since, her favorite show ended. She's been depressed. So she's been trying to make it so her life is like Riley--the main character's life," Ava explained.

"Wait, so some guy from Texas is named Ranger Rick in the story..?" Jon asks, lifting his eyebrows.

"Well his name is Lucas. But yeah."

"Oh yeah. Girl Meets World...," I remark. "But doesn't Maya call Lucas Ranger Rick?" I ask.

"She likes to mix it up," Ava shrugs.

"Good to know..."

"Ava, I really don't want Sara to call me Ranger Rick all year," Jon sighs, with annoyance.

"As much I want to see you annoyed, I can't bare with this Sara either."

"What're you gonna do about it..?" I ask.

"I still don't know yet. Maybe a slight bit of therapy..."

"No, Ava, we need a real therapist," I suggest.

"I got to agree with Diana. We need a profession, a person with experience," Jon adds.

"I'll have you know, I have lots of experience. Even if I don't have a degree in psychology," Ava shots back.

"Fine, we'll try the detective plan to find out what's going on with Lance and Battleaxe," I comfirm.

"Then what'll you guys do?" Ava asks.

"The rest of us," I say, looking at us. "will put in some band practice."

"That sounds like a good plan," Ava comments.

"Thanks, but Ava..?"

"Yes?"

"Have you memorized the lyrics?"
