"Wake up , love." Mum said while shaking my 3 year old little body. I stirred a little bit but not opening my eyes.
"Wake up, my little Autumn. We're going to the beach." Mum said while shaking me again but this time I opened my left eye a little bit. " And we'll stop by at McDonalds." Mum said and this time I get out of my bed quickly and brushed my teeth and then after that, Mum helped me with my outfit and all and we go downstairs.
I was running, too excited to go to McDonalds and then bumped into Dad.
"Sowwy." I said to him and he smiled at me.
"Good morning, my little leaf" Dad said and I raised both of my hands to make him carry me.
"Is the car ready ?" Mum asked and Dad replied with a nod.
"McDownalds!" I yelled making mum and dad laugh.
We get in the car. I always sat in the front seat with my mum. As we drove closer to the beach, I can already see the big M sign which means...
"McDownalds!!" I yelled once again and Dad parked the car at the restaurant.
We walked in with my little hand on Dad's and I smelled their fried chicken's aroma making my mouth water. While mum and dad are telling our order to the cashier and me wandering around , the bell on the door belled. I decided to look at the 3 newly arrived costumers wearing black tshirts with masks on and I can't help but to look at the black shiny thing that's on their hands and then the smaller man raised it and pulling something making a loud noise which caught everbody's attention and pulling me hard as well.
"NOBODY MOVES OR I'LL MAKE THIS LITTLE GIRL'S BRAIN POP!" the other one said while putting it against my head and I can't help but to cry in terror and then my eyes went to both my parents and Dad mouthed to me that everything is going to be okay. The other two men were busy taking money from the cashiers and then I made the stupidest thing ever. I bit the man's hand and made a run for it. Dad saw what I did and he made a run for it as well and then everything was in slow mo now.
As I run away from the man to my dad , the man pointed the gun at my direction and I run into my dad's arms as fast as I could closing my eyes and then i landed into my dad's arms. He hugged me real tight and turned us around and then...
BANG! And another BANG! And then another one.
I opened my eyes and was met by my father's brown eyes. He stared directly into my blue eyes,smiling with tears falling down his face as he spoke.
"I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, MY LITTLE LEAF."
And then he fell down on the floor as blood started spreading on his shirt as well on the floor.
Just after that , the police arrived.
"NOOOOO!" my mum screamed as she run into my dad's lifeless body on the floor with tears streaming down her face.
"YOU LITTLE BITCH! YOU KILLED HIM! I HATE YOU!" my mom screamed at me and pushed me so hard that fell into the floor.
I was unable to move. Traumatized about what just happened. As tears was streaming down my face... I can't help but to think that if I didn't wander around in the first place , none of this would've happened. I'm the reason why my dad's now lifeless body is on the floor. I'm the reason why my Dad died.
