Missing her

Next day evening Ehtasham parked his car in the parking of their house and walked towards his house he saw the door closed he remembered how every time he came home he always found Aaliya standing at the door dressed only for him and welcoming him with her beautiful smile but today she was not there standing at the door to welcome her he tiredly walked towards the door and opened the door with a click and entered inside. The house which welcomed him with the smell of his wife's delicious food and different fragrances today seemed to be bland. The house which echoed the chatter of his wife silly talk and laughter today seemed very silent so silent that he could here his uneven breathing.
Removing his footwear he started walking in when he noticed the showcase displaying different sets of crockery and cutlery which Aaliya had chosen carefully and which had been used once or never had they been used since their purchase he felt sad seeing all the items .
He walked into the bedroom and opened his wife's closet and there he found plenty of expensive jewellery and clothes that had been used scarcely as they were exclusively meant for special occasions and she had never worn them or had worn them once or twice. He found a box which was kept inside he took it and opened it and found some money there the money Aaliya had been saving to buy him a gift he knew that from a long time as he had heard that when Aaliya spoke it out while sleeping talking and he let her surprise be and dint want to ruin it. He then found a box in the last shelf and opened it and the box revealed all the gift wrappers and every little thing that he had given her inside the box and the box also contained a diary inside it ,it was Aaliya's journal in which she had written her feelings for him .
After reading the journal Ehtasham just couldn't control himself and he kept back everything in its place and closed the closet he went to kitchen to fetch water and when he opened the fridge he found leftover foods of previous days ,the delicious food she prepared but ate very little because she was scarred to put on weight and thought that Ehtasham would start disliking her but little did she know that he would love her even if she put on a 200 pounds.
Just then the doorbell rang Ehtasham got up to open the door .
