I was put in my room and tucked in. I don't think I'm sleepwalking. I went to my door and tried to open it. "Hey what's going on?" I asked. I heard my other door open. It was Colleen. "Oh Colleen!" I said running to her. "Don't worry Joey is planning something. It's ok." She said. I felt better. I sat on my bed and she picked out a dress for me to wear for something. We walked out. Joey and Daniel were dressed nicely. I smiled and walked downstairs. I had a pink short dress with purple sparkles. I walked to them and they looked at me like they had something to tell me. I looked at them strangely. "Do you need to tell me something?" I asked. "No well kinda well yes." Joey stuttered. "Just tell me I'll be fine." I said laughing. "Well you know your birthday is in 3 days right?" He said. "Well yes." I said worried. "Well me and Daniel won't.. I can't Daniel you say it." He cried. "We won't be there for your birthday your staying with Stacy." He said. "What?! How could you!" I cried running upstairs dramatically. I slammed my door and started crying. I went to my window and was thinking. Why would they miss my first birthday with them! I got undressed and put some pjs on. I went under the covers and grabbed my phone. I heard my door open slightly. I ran to my closet. I closed the door and put my head on my knees. I heard Joey call, "Addie please come out." "No why should I?" I asked. "Please." "NO" I yelled from the closet. He opened it and I didn't look at him. I was secretly crying but I didn't want him to know. "Addie come here." He said pulling me into a hug. I pushed away and turned away. "I know that your mad at me but please forgive me it's for us." He said. "Is it so important that you have to miss my birthday?" I whined. "I'm sorry but well Daniel and I didn't want to miss but it's for you all for you." He said. I looked up at him with red eyes. I had dried tears on my cheeks. He hugged me. I pushed away and ran out of my room. I ran to the park down the street. I sat on the tree swing and started crying. I was sitting there with tears in my lap. My pants wet. I looked up and saw a man walking toward me. "Um are you ok?" He asked. "Um actually no." I said smiling lightly. "Well come on I can help you ." He said creepily. "Um actually I'm going to head home now so." I said backing up. I ran and he was chasing me. I saw Joey walking looking for me. He saw my bolting down the street with this creep following me. He ran to me. He picked my up and put me on his shoulders. We ran to the house. We got in and I didn't say a word. "Addie why didn't you yell for help?!" He slightly yelled. "Because I can do it myself I'm not 5!!" I screamed. "Well you should know that if some random stranger is chasing you probably going to kidnap you, you should yell for help!" He yelled. "Ugh Whatever!" I ran to my room and closed the door. I decided to lie in bed and look at my phone. I got in bed and pulled the covers over my head. I looked and saw texts from Emily. All it was is her asking if I was dead. I texted her back.

Me: No I'm not dead I'm alive!!
Emily: Oh good I thought Joey killed you!!
Me: You weirdo!! No Joey didn't kill me but he's going to miss my birthday.
Emily: What?!?
Me: Yeah and on top of that I'm spending it with a person I barley even know. Who lives in Maryland!!
Emily: wow well Ms. Brittany is calling I should head out!! Bye!
Me: What no ok bye tell Ms. Brittany I don't miss her lol
Emily: You know what would happen if I said that?!?
Me: Yeah I know well see ya!
Emily: bye!
I got out from under my covers and saw Joey standing in my room. "Look Addie I'm.." I cut him off. "No I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you I'm sorry." I said. He smiled and hugged me. Everything was fine that night it was pretty normal till I had to pack my stuff. I was going to Maryland!!
