Ally

About a month ago, I did what I wanted. Now I am back to getting on track again. I began to think of everything that had occurred to me for the past year while doing the dishes. But out of it all, it's gotten me to where I am today. Stronger, a bit more positive, busy but well.

"Hey Al! Be sure to pick up Mike at the dentist in 20 minutes. I got to go get Danielle at the airport in Los Angeles. I'll be home before you know it! See you sis" Vic ran out the door and I wave him goodbye and turned back towards the sink. I heard the tv playing. "A school shooting-" I turned to the tv and looked again. It was a school two hours away from here that had a school shooting. My heart ached and I soon felt bad for the poor children who were put in such state. I slowly moved towards the tv and sat down next to it. "–Leaving three children left shot. They died moments after due to how fatal the injuries were and nine other teachers and children were also injured. More news at 8"

The door opened seconds after. The front door. My heart skipped a beat and I threw myself down on the floor and hit behind the couch. I heard the footsteps come near and my heart pounded. Please tell me the shooter isn't here. Tell me it's Mike. Yes he's drugged but he knows how to come home?? I peeked up and saw no one. I looked around and took a deep unsteady breath. I turned around more to my left.  "Ally?" and screamed. I held my face and arms and looked away. "Ally!" It was Tony. I opened my eyes and looked around. "Did anything happen when I was gone?" He asked. "N-no. I was just watching the news and a scary thing had happened and I just.. I am fine" I took a more deep comfortable breath knowing that I was in Tony's arms right now. "Are you okay?" Tony giggled and I looked up at him. "Yes. Yes I am Tony" I smiled at him and began to laugh. He did as well and we didn't break eye contact. I smiled showing my dimples and Tony did as well. I always admire his beauty, especially his eyes and smile. "I.. we should go. I have to pick up Mike. He's at the dentist" I said and Tony's smile lightened. "Oh yeah let's go then. I'll drive" he said helping me up. I looked back at the stove to make sure it was off and then followed Tony outside.

We went inside his car and iheartradio was on already. "Did he say what dentist it was at?" Tony asked already on the highway. "Um.. I am guessing is the most popular one in town." I said checking for cars for Tony to keep driving. "Go ahead" I said and Tony pushed on the gas again. "So how have you been?" He asked turning the AC on and turn the fans up a little. "I am good. Working on some arty things with a band called With Confidence. They actually liked my idea on a few designing things. Mostly shirts." I said tapping my thighs and began to smile. "What about you?" I asked and Tony smiled and hesitated. "Not so good. Erin is once again up her bosses ass. She's really never home anymore and Doug is always at the dog sitter. Today I am just going to pick him up without her knowing. I don't know we just got so distant in the month and I don't really care anymore ya know?" He said and finally took a breath. "Oh um.. I'm sorry to hear that. Of course I wouldn't understand it all" I said and looked out the window. I felt wrong for thinking this but I felt a slight relief and happiness after him saying that. I had to hold myself back from almost replying to Tony with happiness in my voice.

We pulled up to the dentist and Tony said he'd wait here in the front and I'd go get Mike to see if he needs any help. I opened the door and saw Mike holding his mouth with an eye open. I turned to the nurse at the front. "Hello. I'm here for Mike Fuentes. What happened?" I asked. "He has got a tooth pulled in the back and it's stitched up so he extremely careful. He is allowed to drink just liquids. Putting and yogurt may work. Just a lot of liquids though. Are you his girlfriend?" She asked. "No. His sister" I giggled and slowly walked towards Mike. "Mikey. Get up" I said shaking him. His eyes opened and he grabbed onto my shoulder and got up. His long arms wrapped about my shoulders and I walked out the door thanking the nurse. I saw Tony in the front waiting. He was looking down at his phone and finally looked up. He proceeded to get out of his car and help me. "I got him. You go get buckled up" Tony said making a funny voice. I laughed and shook my head and followed Perry's orders. "Alright sweet. Let's get going" Tony said shutting Mike's side of the door and went around to his side and got in. I stood there and awkwardly just looked away and out the window. "Want to know something?" Tony smiled and and I looked at him. "Sure" I replied waiting for him to speak.

"What would make you feel better if you're in a distant relationship? Imagine it.. Oh and I need help surprising Erin for a surprise" Tony said casually and I felt my face just drop and my gut just freeze. I couldn't force a smile. I had no words. "I couldn't imagine.. but I do know what it's like. Feels like I live it as the days grow longer" my voice was barely audible and it just cracked. I turned to see Tony's eyes on me with a concerned look. I cleared my throat and just looked away. "Just be cheesy and give her a surprise party. Remind her why you're with her and why you want to be with her to spend your forever together" I said and remained calm. "But what if I wanted it with you?" He asked.

I can't believe what I was hearing. I hesitated before I had to ask. "What?" I asked and turned to Tony. We were at a red light. "I-.. I said I wanted to throw you a party for being such an amazing person" he barely got out. "Tony.. are you sure that's what you meant?" I asked. I swear I knew what I heard. I swear to it. Tony looked away and back at the road.

"I hope you guys fix things and go at your own paste" I said and finally forced a very small smile which he took. Tony lightly smiling back and thanked me. I turned around to check on Mike and he was sleeping already. "Mike.." I said softy. Nothing. "Mikey" I said louder and he opened his eyes. "Are you thirsty or hungry?" I asked and he nodded and sat up.

"My mouth hurts a bit" he said holding his chin. "Be careful bro" I said and smiled at him. His cheeks stretched slightly and I turned around. I frowned at the state he was in.
Tony was looking in the mirror to make sure Mike was okay.

"We can go get a smoothie somewhere. McDonalds sells the best mango and strawberry smoothies" he added. I nodded agreeing because that shit is the bomb. Mike seemed to nod and bit and I continued to watch the road. Tony didn't drive bad at all but drove professionally, another word, perfect. I yawned feeling sleepy but I wasn't in the mood to sleep. I unlocked my phone and scrolled through my instagram feed. Just catching up on social media is what up.

"You watch the new Game Of Thrones season?" Tony silently asked. I smiled and nodded. "Wouldn't miss a thing for it.. pretty bummed about the dragons being locked up for the first time though. Did you see Daenerys face? I cried" I giggled and locked my phone thinking about the tv show.

"I said I wanted to spend my future... with you" Tony said. My heart skipped and I felt a shiver down my back. Tony has changed the subject, purposely catching me off guard. "Y-you do?" I asked, squeezing my palms together. Tony faintly smiled before nodding. I didn't know if I was allowed to question him so I didn't. I don't think I should if I know he's engaged. I'd rather let this pass by and go back on track. He needs it.
