The World We Live In
We live in a world were most parents don't care where you are.
What your doing. Who your with.
A world were it doesn't matter if your dead or alive.
They don't care if your passing or not.
Or wether or not your being bullied.
If you want to end it all or not.
They ask questions that they don't care for.
They don't care for your dreams of the future or the nightmares we have.
A world were kids can't wait until they turn eighteen,
So they can leave the homes that are supposed to be safe and loving.
Promising themself's they'll never be like their parents.
That they'll be better.
A world were kids wonder why they're still alive.
If they should finish highschool or go to college.
If they should even try.
A world were teachers care more then parents.
A world that believes lies are better then the truth.
A world were we would rather go to war then talk it out.
A world alot of people want to only see the good but can't deny the facts in front of them.
A world were friends are family and blood doesn't matter.
A world were people can take life without feeling bad about it.
Where your judged for being yourself and not a fake.
A world were people judge before knowing the whole story.
Where parents yell at their kids instead of talking.
This is the world we live in,
and sad thing is
We made it this way.
