Am I an alien because I am different?
Because I'm not "normal" to you.
Arnt I still made of skin just as you?
Or perhaps in your eyes do you see me as a sponge.-
Just a means for you to let out everything screaming inside you-
Just to feel a moments release.
If that may be so-
I will gladly be your sponge
Ill take whatever you throw at me, without a judgful eye.
And after ill clean up the mess-
Ill soak up every bit of pain you feel.
If that's what it means-
to sacrifice my own well being just so I know you feel at ease in my arms then I'll gladly be your sponge.
