It's 3 a.m. and the young lady isn't doing much. She sits on the couch and is watching some boring TV-shows. She has no idea what to do.... Sleeping would be something but that's not an option for the girl. She didn't really sleep since 1456, or whatever year it was back then. She doesn't know what year it is. She doesn't know the month or the day. It feels like she doesn't know anything anymore - the thoughts are gone; dead.
She stares at the TV without actually seeing or hearing anything. She isn't feeling cold or warm. She isn't hungry or thirsty aswell. She just ... "is". You could say the young lady is barely existing. But the way she exists seems fine to her. Because since she exists like that, she didn't cry anymore. She didn't laugh either but she doesn't care at all.
Suddenly the screen turns black. Just a little white text is shining on the TV. "No activity since 4 hours". A second later everything turns black. No light, no shine. Just her and the darkness... basically the usual.
And as the girl stares at nothing and nothing at all, her mind lights up and all the thoughts she was holding back for so long pop into her head. They cross her mind over and over. And the more she thinks the more it hurts. It is that familiar pain she tried to avoid for so long. And now she's drowning in that feeling.
The young lady shrugs and starts to cry. She cries and cries and she doesn't know how to stop. It's so cold, she's so hungry and so tired aswell. She stands up, on her way to bed but she falls down. Her legs are too weak; her knees collide with the floor. The cold tiles turn into a salty lake. She puts her head down, grabbing her hair tight. The girl starts to yell without knowing why...she actually knows why but she can't put it in actual words.
"Why. Why. Why. Why?!"
Her crying gets louder, the yelling gets more intense - and so does the pain. Love comes to her mind. The love she lost a long time ago. The love she never wanted to loose. All the memories, the great feeling she had back then....everything at once just takes her breath.
"IF YOU LOVED ME SO MUCH WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME!? I LOVED YOU MORE THAN MY OWN LIFE. WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME? WHY?!"
.. is what her neighbours hear.
Her voice cracks, she's barely breathing and still trembling.
"...why did you leave me..."
is what she wispers to herself under tears.
"...why did we end..."
And with those last words she sits in silence for a few moments.
The girl wipes away her tears and forces herself to stop crying any more. She forces herself to stop thinking and feeling anything. And with puffy eyes she stands up, acting like nothing happened.
And without any feelings or thoughts at all, the girl goes back to the couch; back to the boring TV-shows. She was on the way to bed, yea, but she can't sleep. She didn't really sleep since 1456...or whatever year it was back then.
