Humans have been against synths since they gained consciousness. Claiming they have taken their jobs and lives away from them.
Scenario ~ you are at your safe house with the other humans. You are sitting, watching the tv when the headline coles through - "WW3 HAS BEEN DECLARED AGAINST SYNTHS, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE LIKE"
Synths are now gathering in groups of unimaginable scale. Remember, every house had at least one synth, and all the shops and workforces were run by them. Soon, they are raiding villages.
