Chapter 3

Today I meet Logan the giant, my first live giant although I could argue that my dad (from the photo’s I have seen of him) was a giant because he’s so tall. Every photograph I have of him his hair is always cut off.

I enter the room I was in last night when I meet Elijah the ghost. This time the room has lights on so that I can see Logan straight away and I see him straight away. He takes up nearly the entire room and his head is just inches away from the ceiling. He has a shaved head, gold eyes and giant teeth.

“Hello Logan”

The giant amazes me by laughing at me.

“Hello Anastasia ....you’re so tiny”

“And you’re so big”

“Thank you that is a great compliment for a giant....men aren’t you just like a little baby”

“I’m 16”

“Well by your size you’d think you were an infant”

“Well I’m not”

“Are you sure?”

“Very sure”

Logan starts walking towards me each step he takes shakes the room and I’m amazed that he doesn’t go through the floor. Logan bends down and picks me up like a weigh nothing but a toothbrush. Then he starts rocking me back and forth in his arms like you would do with a baby to get them to sleep.

“You’re so mini, short, little, petite, a shrimp compared to me, like a toy and so wee. Just a little baby aw”

“Ok I get it I’m small but I’m defiantly not a baby”

“You’re defiantly a pipsqueak got no meat on you that’s for sure” to prove his point he pokes me in the stomach with his large hand.

“I couldn’t take you as my wife not only would I be a laughing stock but I’d be afraid of hurting you”

“Mrs Baker said that you can shrink and grow”

“True but I hate shrinking....I love being a giant absolutely love the view...why you saying you want to be my wife Anastasia because I won’t say no if you’re offering I can always fatten you up so you don’t look like a baby....what’d you say?”

“Eh no I wasn’t offering I was only asking....merely curious”

“Well then Mrs Baker has wasted my time....again”

“I’m sorry. I hope you find someone, somewhere out there there’s a girl waiting for you”

“Incredible you have spoken”

“What”

 “Say something else”

“Eh the girl is waiting for you to love, cherish and protect her but beware the girl is in grave danger” as soon as I realise what I said I slap my hands over my mouth and turn to look for Logan but he’s gone and I’m left alone wondering what the hell just happened to me and why I said all that to him.
