The Alphas Angel

Chapter 10

Alex's POV

As soon as school is done Ash and I hurry home and go our separate ways. I look at my phone and see it's already 2. Shit! Cheer practice starts in 30 minutes and if I'm late coach will make me run 2 extra laps.

The moment I'm able to see my house I race to the front door. Thankfully I already packed my cheer bag the night before. I run up the stairs and head into my room and quickly grab the bag. I then head back down the stairs and into the kitchen and get my water bottle from the fridge.

I look outside to see if Josh is home yet but of course when I need him he isn't here.  I start walking to the gym. Thankfully the gym is only about a fifteen minute walk but still. That mean a longer worm up.

If you haven't guessed already my pack, Blood Moon Pack has its own cheer team, just like it does for all other sports. I mean we after all can't go against humans because we would obviously win. I mean not to brag or anything but werewolf's are way stronger and more graceful than humans. It's just a common fact.

Cheer season is about to start in a few weeks which I'm really excited for. The routine we are doing is amazing.

Just then a car pulls up to me. What's Jace doing here I think.

"Hey Angel, where you headed" he asks.
"Cheer practice" I say.
"Do you want a ride" Jace asks.

I nod my head in reply. I mean sure I work really hard in cheer and school but other than that I'm so lazy. So yes no waking for me.

Out of nowhere Jace ask, "Angel, why didn't you ask me for a ride, if you needed one. I'd have been more than happy to.

"Honestly Jay, I didn't think of it and even if I had I don't have your number."

As I answer his question, if I'm not mistaken his facial expression portrayed it as if he was hurt by my answer. However when I blinked my eyes that look was gone. I'm probably just imagining things. I mean why would Jace care if I thought of him or not.

"Angel, promise that if you ever need a ride somewhere you'll call me. It's to dangerous for you to be walking on the streets by yourself. You could have gotten hurt or something."

"Ok Jace, I promise. But make sure you give me your number would ya. I mean I wouldn't want to defy the alpha after all" I tease.

Just in time we pull up to the gym. I look at my phone and see that I'm ten minutes early. Thank the Lord. I quickly say goodbye to Jace and then run inside the gym where I find Ash and the other girls.

(15 minutes later)

"Come on girls. I want those stunts looking perfect" Allie says. ( cheer coach)

I quickly get into my stunt group and get ready to go do the new moves Allie made for the new season. I love being a flyer, it's my favorite part of cheer. I love doing the stunt so much.

Allie counts us in and on three I'm up in the air. We do the first trick called a scorpion and thankfully we hit it. I'm really happy that I finally did because the scorpion is a really hard stunt to pull off. We then move onto the second stunt called the repear. This cheer move is also really hard and advanced. My bases get ready to get me in the air and within seconds I am. I get down on the ground and Starr slapping my stunt groups hands because we just freakin hit both stunts.

The whole team turn and faces the front of the gym towards Allie. She says, "Girls, the stunts looked amazing. Especially for these moves being advanced. But Madison's stunt group when you were doing the scorpion it looked as if you guys were shaken in the beginning, so I want you to work on it. But other than that it looks amazing. Alright now we're going to start getting down some of the tumbling for the routine."
