But another thing was different. Prince So's scar was missing. I was astonished how it just suddenly not there. The royal family was also surprised, but the Queen loosing her expression as she stared at his face. I looked back at So as he heads up to the ceremonial alter and turns around to look at everyone; mainly at Soo.
My gaze went back to Yo as he furiously marched towards us, settling besides the other Princes' while So began the ritual. During the process, I just stared at Jung then over at Yo as my heart just beated between the two. If Yo knew my feelings towards Jung, I knew that he will find a way..
Then a few droplets turns into a torrential downpour. There came a surprise among the royal family and me. I stared in surprise, as he smiled over at Soo, the makeup on his face starting to run off to reveal his real scar. Queen Yoo Ssi angrily left the ceremonial grounds right when Prince Won began.

I blinked, quickly turning over at Yo as he chases after his mother. I rushed towards him, quietly trailing behind the two towards the Queens' Quarters. The doors closed after them, and I went to sneak up against the wall to listen.
"Mother, I'm sorry. Everything was going fine, but So-"
Something then cut Yo off. A loud slap as I heard through the doors. I slightly gasped, falling onto the ground in disbelief and covering my mouth.
"How dare you let So take your place?!"
"Mother, my deepest apologies.. It was a mistake.." Yo stutter for the first time.
"There is no room for mistakes, Yo!" She ruthlessly responded. "If I become the King's mother, the you must be ruthless. I will surely set Damiwon on fire because of that Soo girl.." The Queen vowed.
My eyes widen, then looking at Yo as he was in slight fear.
'This is what your mother really is..' I thought, finally stumbling to my feet to escape. Behind me, I heard the doors open.
"I thought someone was here.." Yo mumbled out loud, myself hiding and covering my mouth to silence myself.
~The Next Day~
"Yo, give that back to me." I groaned, trying to reach for the book.
But he smirked at me, pulling the book close to him, "I don't know why you could read this type of book!"
