That day, the sun was brighter than anything Armando had ever seen. The moment he fell into consciousness, he grabbed his phone to check the time. It was already 7:00, and he was meant to meet with Gabriel at 8:30. He swiftly got ready, putting on his backpack and shooting out the door.
A notification appeared on his phone.
****JADE HAS SENT YOU A MESSAGE ****
"Crap.." He said, removing his phone and unlocking it to read the text.
'Hey Armando, we should totally hang out tonight!' Read the message, and Armando winced. He pulled up the keyboard and began to type a message back.
'I'm actually busy, but thanks for the offer.'
He hit send and stuck his phone in his backpack pocket. Armando unlocked his bike, hopped on, and was on his way.
They originally were just going to hang out at Gabriel's house, but Simon had people over so the plans switched a bit. The two lovesick boys made their way to the nearest fast food place to relax and talk. Lucky they weren't busy, so the two had a bit or privacy.
"So Gabe, how uh, how ya been?" Asked Armando in a nervous tone. Since the beginning of the day there has been very minimal conversations between the two, and it felt very awkward.
"I've been okay. Tired mostly." Replied Gabriel. Armando began to get worried. What if this was the wrong decision? What if all of this, Gabriel and the flowers, what if he was wrong? The two sat in silence for a moment. An order number was called. They ate their food.In silence.
Armando continued his self doubt through the deafening moments. His internal words were cut off by Gabriel grabbing his hand and standing up.
"Come on, let's get out of this hell hole." He said, pulling Armando to his feet. "W-what?" Stammered Armando. Gabriel pulled him to and out the door. Gabriel turned back and looked at Armando with a innocent smile."Let's go do something crazy."
