Shit. Why did I suggest we hang out? And why on earth did I ask Callie for advice on outfits?

"Tori, honey, please let me do it. This is a date you say?" Callie asks curiously, while lurking through my closet.

"Callie, for the hundredth time, NO. Just a friend who wants to hang out, that's all."

"And who might this friend be?" Callie inquisitively asks. Again.

"Uhm, oh you know..some friend who I went to elementary with." I reply cautiously, trying not to sound as if I'm making it up.

Callie turns around, searching my eyes for hidden thoughts. Sighing, "Tori, I was the only person you hung out with in elementary. I've never seen you with anybody else." Shit.

"Well, you just didn't know tha-"

"Cut the small talk, I get it. Now come on, let's have you put this elegant piece that I've specially picked out for you." She says, laying the clothing very delicately as if it were to break, which is impossible because, well, it's clothing.

"Cal, the last time I wore that was for my cousin's wedding. I told you it was casual," I respond. Taking a good look at the dress, it was elegant. With the silk texture of the dress, followed by the way it drops itself when you stand up. The Swarovski diamonds obviously shown on the neck of the dress was just as expensive as my tuition for university, but captivated the people that passed by during that event. God would I do anything to wear that again.

She huffs, "ugh. Fine. Have it your way. I didn't come ALL the way from MY house, which is about 5 kilometers away, up a mountain, JUST to be told that you didn't want my advice of picking an outfit for a date that you don't want me knowing."

I roll my eyes sarcastically, "Cal, I appreciate your help. It's just...a walk around downtown, that's all."

She simply nods, and, as if a lightbulb suddenly appeared on top of her head, she beams excitedly before rummaging through my closet.

I glance at my clock.

4:27pm

"Liam, what the actual fuck?" I say, looking at the disgusting outfit Liam pieced together.

Liam looks at me with scrunched eyebrows. "Ey, was it not you that asked me to help you get your ass to look good? Huh?" He retorts, before looking back at the outfit. "It's perfect, Zayn. All you gotta do is wear it," he explains.

"I know how to wear clothes, Liam You're-A-Payne-In-The-Ass, thank you very much. But the colors..." I glance at the shirt and the pants. It's goddamn fucking neon colors. Who the hell wears neon colors?

"Oi, it's sexy. The girl will absolutely dig it!" He shouts, proud that he pieced the colors. I only laugh because hey, my best mate knows how to make a fool out of himself. Shaking my head, I head towards my closet and pull out my a casual grey pocket t-shirt, and sort-of ripped jeans.

"Now this is what you call fashion, my friend." I show him, smirking while his eyes rake upon my picking.

Slowly nodding his head as he gives approval, he adds, "you could rock the neon colors though, Zayn. Doesn't matter what you wear. To girls, what matters is what's under those clothes."

That's deep shit. "You mean this dick? Yeah, my little man is pretty fond of girls thinking about him," I smirk.

Laughing, Liam shakes his head. "You're disgusting. Tell me why I'm your friend again?"

"Do you really want me to tell you how you asked me if you can sit beside me in grade 3 because you smelled my chicken nuggets from across the room, wanting to ask if you could have one? May I also remind you that I did give you that chicken nugget, right?" I ask, reminiscing the good old days. I smile to myself.

He formed a smile after, "fuck yeah. That was the best chicken nugget I've ever had in my life."

We both laugh.

After restoring myself, I glance at the time.

4:27pm.
