Ogre

Marshall's POV

I stared at her with disbelief.

"Fiona.."

She sighed.

"Marshall I'm sorry that this happened"

I grabbed her gently, she's delicate now. I held her hugging her

She wrapped her tiny arms around my neck, my large hands on her waist. all alone, the 2 of us. together at last.

"I don't care. I missed you too much"

I mumbled, I nuzzled my face in her neck. I picked her up. she's really short.

she pulled away and kissed me. I've missed those soft lips dearly. sweet and soft, plump. she's perfect.

I pulled us to the side where I could sit.

She got on her knees so she was taller than me. my hands found their way up her back. her brown hair tangled into my fingers. her small hands gripped my black hair. tugging gently. making me groan quietly.

God damn this chicks making me crazy.

But we can't do this.

"Fiona, I'll probably kill you so let's not do this"

she groaned in annoyance

"Is it because I'm a dammed human?"

"Yes"

She laughed and got up, it felt cold, I just want to hold her tight. it's been like 3 or 4 weeks since I've last seen her!

"Let's go adventure one last time then make me a vampire again"

I nodded and grinned

Then she got out

"Let's go adventure!"

I stared at her

"You gonna put on clothes?"

She looked down and grinned at herself

"Oh. right"

And then got dressed

Silly girl.

I got dressed with her and floated beside her as she walked, hair down for once, strange, she only has her hair down sleeping! I shrugged it off and kept moving. all of a sudden we hear a roar, and ogre.

Fuck

"HOW DARE YOU TRESPASS?! YOUR PUNISHMENT IS DEATH"

"ah fuck" I heard Fiona say before the large ogre hand slammed against her, she flew and hit a tree

Hard.

God I hope she's okay, I was too busy thinking of her to realise the giant hand moved for me, grabbing me into it's crushing grip. I cried out in pain as I felt my ribs break, he slammed me onto the ground and I felt dizzy, blood was flowing from my head.

"LET HIM GO!"

Fiona was pissed

He laughed a hearty laugh

"As you wish mortal, you won't live long"

And with that, he threw me about 7 miles from that area, I met ground, and blacked out.

'Waking up a few hours later I fly up, full of energy. after a half hour of flying I find Fiona, the ogre gone and she lies there against a rock

"Fiona" I whisper

She smiled weakly.

"Marsh" she squeaks

Grinding came from her stomach

I put my hand on her chest, my hand dipped in.

"Broken ribs, I won't live long"

I feel tears forming. I don't look up at her

"I want you to know, I love"

I stare at her

"Jared"

And with that she seeps into the empty darkness of death.'

I awoke in a snap. I cried out, my ribs cracked back in place, I was shaking and sweaty. I felt my face sweating a lot

I went to wipe it off when I realised

Tears.

I was crying, and with that I cried even harder. I don't cry ever but I was crying for dear life hoping she was alive right now.

After sobering up from crying I floated up to see Fiona passed out. I panicked and checked her pulse

"Get offa mee"

I smiled as tears flew down my face

She groaned and sat up, holding her arm against her body. I held her close and she muffled a groan,

"What's wrong?"

"My shoulder"

I nodded as I picked her up and flew her out of the woods. and to the castle

Fiona's POV

My shoulders fine, I actually have 2 broken ribs and can't tell him. I don't want him to worry anymore

We got back to the castle and I walked into the bathroom, I removed my shirt and began cracking everything into place, then wrapping it up tightly, I wrapped up my scar on my wrist and put back on my shirt. he lied there on my bed

"You look tired"

"I just fought a huge ogre, I'm tired" I giggled

He smiled, not a smirk, a smile! something I've missed while gone

I sat on the bed and he hugged me tight

I held back a cry, I forgot he loves to hug

I lied my head on his chest and smiled, this is my happy place. where I relax and be me. with him, it's a thousand times better.

"I love you" was all I heard from him

I blushed deeply and smiled

"I-I love you too"

He smiled, I could feel it. and with that, we drifted into a sleep so deep even an ogre couldn't wake us
