Chapter16

Walking to work the next day I could feel somebodies eyes burning in the back of my head, trying to ignore it and carry on walking I heard a crunch behind me. Turning around to see who it was I was shocked when I saw nobody there.

As I approached my work I saw my colleague dan walking inside. Quietly running up to him and making him jump.

"Shit darc don't do that" he said while trying to re-gain his breathing. "Hey dan how are you" I replied half laughing still.

"I'm alright thank you how was your weekend?" He asked kindly.

"Shit i'd rather not talk about it to be honest" I replied weakly.

"Anyway the weirdest thing happened this morning I was just walking to work when I swear I heard someone following me, but when I turned to look there was no one there it was so creepy!" I told him.

"It was probably just your mind playing tricks on you, you were probably distracted" he told me half heartedly.

"Yeah probably, thanks I'll see you later," I said entering the locker room.

"bye dan!"

"Bye darc"

Hours later I was just walking out of work when I heard tyres screeching and men shouting, running back inside the building before anyone saw me I quickly called Megan.

"Meg can you come pick me up from work please it's urgent?"

"Darcy what's wrong, what's happened?"

" I don't know meg just please I'll explain when you're here"

"Alright I'm on my way"

"Thanks bye meg"

Hanging up the phone and waiting inside for meg I saw three men enter the building and notice me. Starting to stare and come towards me I started running into the fire escapes. Locking the door behind me I started to pick up the pace and run trying to find the exit.

Reaching the exit I saw Meg's car but all too quickly i saw her pinned up against the side of her car, rushing over to try and rescue her I was instantly noticed and grabbed by one of the other members. Starting to panic I looked over to Megan sympathetically and realised the lead member started to scream at me

"Where's the fucking money" he screamed getting in my face

"I have no idea what the fuck you're talking about" I replied cluelessly

"My fucking money I know you have It and I won't stop untill I get it back!" He replied angrily

"LEAVE HER ALONE SHE DOESNT KNOW ANYTHING" Megan screamed

"Meg what's he talking about money" I asked her.

"Shut the fuck up whores" he shouted angrily at us

"Now I want my money and I don't care what I have to do to get it back but I'm willing to do anything so if you don't start talking your friend here is going to be punished" he said to Megan directed at me

"DONT FUCKING HURT HER SHE HASNT DONE ANYTHING WRONG SHE DOESNT KNOW ABOUT THE MONEY, ITS ME YOU WANT LET HER GO!!!" Megan screamed starting to cry.

This made them angry as he directed his mate that was holding to start beating me till we cave In and tell them, he started to kick me and pin me down the floor. Kicking me hard in the stomach making me wince and cry out in pain. Wrapping his large cold hands around my dainty neck I started to loose focus.

Hearing faint screams as I was drifting in and out of consciousness I faintly noticed a muscular body appear as I peacefully fell into the darkness......
