Ash's posse walked closely around Claude, ensuring that he wouldn't try to run away. Sweat dripped down the golden eyed boy's forehead, as he considered the possibilities of what they would do to him.

The group got their lunches and sat down at a table in the middle of the cafeteria. The groups attention turned to Claude and the only girl, a curvy, tan, silver haired girl, "So, Claude, how do you feel about being a bully?"

"A bully?"

The tall, ebony- haired boy was skeptical.

"Mmhm."

Her seductive tone enticed the boy, "Depends on how I feel about my victim. . . Why?"

"You're gonna help us bully Sebastian Michaelis."

". . . Se. . . bastian. . . He's my best friend. . . I can't do that. . ."

The three plum- haired triplets stood, "Why not? People betray their best friends all the time. It's called being a jackass."

Claude stood, quickly and defensively, anger spread over his handsome features and both of his hands hitting the rectangular table, "I'm not a jackass, nor will I ever be! I WILL NOT betray my best friend, so FORGET ABOUT IT!"

He stormed out of the calfeteria, attracting more attention to himself.

Jackasses. . . Who do they think they are? I'd never be able to win Sebastian's love if I bullied him. . . He'd never trust me again. . .

The boy sat at the empty band room's piano, hands positioned over the keys, fingers lightly touching the keys. He pressed his finger down on the F key, then the C key with another finger, playing Oceandust, by Hands Like Houses, his favorite band.

"There's no more wind to be found in the sails

Hands full of fallen stars and comet tails

Rivers of sand unentwined through my hands
To know what they've seen, well, my burden's all pale

I'll make an hourglass from my fingers
I know I'm only pa-"

His playing and singing is interrupted by the sound of the band room door opening.

"Claude?"

Sebastian's voice penetrated Claude's thoughts even more. He turned to the petite boy, "Hm?"

"I, uh, . . . Really love your v- voice. . . Where'd you learn to play like that?"

The taller boy looked into Seb's crimson retinas, Are they gonna hurt me if I don't bully him? . . .

Claude's expression went angry and he answered the question with a venomous tone, "Places."

He stood, leaving the room, with Sebastian still in the doorway, confused and shocked.
