8) Pretending Nothing Happened

After a while of cuddling Sebastian while watching YouTube with him, Claude fell asleep.

It's now morning and all of the students we're now exploring Tokyo. Bard, Finny, Sebastian, and Claude stopped at a sushi place for lunch.

Sebastian watched as Claude popped a sushi roll into his mouth. The fact that he seemed unphased by the prior nights events bothered him. And he continuously wondered why he wasn't arrested or in trouble for what he did.

Sebastian argued with himself for awhile before deciding to question the taller boy, "Don't you find it odd that you're not in trouble for last night?"

Claude looked at him and blinked, "What about last night? What did I do?"

"Seriously? You couldn't have forgotten."

"Forgotten what?" He popped another roll into his mouth.

"The attack?"

"Not ringing a single bell, Seb."

Bard chuckles and chimes in, "Calm down, Sebastian. Will said they'll take care of it when we got back to America."

"Never mind taking care of it. How do you not remember, Claude?"

Claude chuckles, "I remember, Sebby. I'm just pulling your leg."

"You can't just stab the shit out of someone then joke about it. You do realize that they're most likely gonna make your parents pay the medical bill and you're probably gonna get thrown in jail."

"Nah. I've done this before. My dad's an officer. He's the one that keeps me out of jail. And we can have that bill payed in no time."

The door to the restaurant opens and Claude and Sebastian turn around to look at who stepped in. Unfortunately for them, it was Ash. He approaches Claude, "Hey, so, I already talked to Will and them. I told them that I didn't want to take this to court. They don't know why, but it's because I don't want my parents to find out why you did it. Y'know the bullying. I'd still probably get in big trouble and I don't want that. So you just owe me a few favors."

Claude nods, swallowing a sushi roll, "Five."

"What?"

"I owe you five favors. But they can't be fucking awful, or I'll stab you again. Who has your hospital bill?"

"Will."

"Get it from him and give it to me. I'm still gonna pay that off."

Ash nods and leaves the restaurant.
