We ran a bit longer before the sound of the guns was almost deafening. We were about to round the corner when I stopped and turned to Lucy, "stay here I'm going to go take a look,"
She nodded as I turned back around and slowly peeks around the corner. I saw Baldroy. The chef. The man who taught me a few things about cooking and how to relax under the toxic smoke of a cool cigarette. And he was shooting at something. What ever it was was moving so fast it looked like a smudge. It was black, then that's when I figured it out. It was either Kro or Alex I almost forgot they can turn into wolves. Well whoever it was can obviously handle themselves to I turned back to Lucy, but she looked different. Her eyes looked distant and unfocused. Then I saw a line of blood coming from her mouth. I looked down and saw a long pipe sticking out of her stomach. It was quickly removed as her limp body fell to the ground like a marionette losing its strings. Finny stood behind her, his eyes large, pupils dialated, and a sadistic little smile plastered on his lips. "Im sorry Miss but your friend was a danger to my lord and she had to go, and sadly you do too." His eyes slowly made their way up to meet mine. He raised the pipe over his head as it came down so quick it looked like a blur. I stepped to the side and presses myself against the wall, but not fast enough as I now has a large gash on my left arm. I squeezed it tightly before running past him and trying to make my way toward the stairs. Before I was reach the first step the pipe came falling from the sky where it landed not an inch in front of me as it got stuck in the floor. "Aww I missed," a pouty Finny said before grabbing a near by table and lifting it over his head. "Guess I'll have to try again," he launched the table into the sky as I continued by race to the top of the stairs. I heard his heavy foot steps behind me as I pumped my legs harder. That's when I remembered. I've done this before.
~flashback~
Target acquired. I ran up the stairs forgetting the pain in my ankle. I heard some stumbling to the right and ran that way. I was running down a long dark hallway. The only sound was my breathing and the loud thumps coming from my heels. From afar I saw a slightly open door with light coming through it. I pumped my legs even faster causing one of my stocking to fall to my ankle. I threw the door open and saw Dagger...
~end flashback~
Dagger... that's who I was doing all this for. A rage pumped through my veins as a grabbed one of the small knives hiding in the boot. I gripped the handle tightly before swiftly turning around, I brought my arm swinging with me as a threw the knife toward Finny. Perfect. It has handed right in the middle of his chest. He stumbled back a little before stopping completely, his head slowly looked down at the knife on his chest then back at me. I did not plan on seeing his reaction so I continued making my way up the stairs. Dammit why does this brat have so many stairs? I finally made it to the top where I was encountered with a long hallway with at least 10 doors on each side. Thank you continuous trips of cleaning his room. I ran 8 doors down and to the left. I stared at the door. Finally. All my hard work. All my planning and manipulating for this.single.moment. Dagger, my love, this is for you. I steadied my breathing before grasping the brass handle. It was ice cold and almost hurt my hand to hold. I took a deep breath in before ever so slowly opening the door. The bright moon light entered from the window illuminating the room. And there he was. The little brat causing me so many problems. Asleep. And all mine.
