It's been one week since the night I tried to escape. However, whenever we see each other in the halls or in a room we immediately try to avoid each other. There's no bad blood between us, but that night we both agreed that it would be best to avoid each other.

FLASHBACK:

Why... why does my face feel so warm? All he did was kiss my cheek, he's done way worse in the past, so why am I blushing so much at that. Well in his defense it wasn't technically him, at the time.

"Sorry Juvia, I was in such a rush to catch up to you that I only had enough time to grab those apple slices. They weren't even mine to take. Whoever made them, hopefully they aren't too mad with me. Hehehe. Anyway there's no way they were enough for you to regain your full strength... here I'll carry you back, so you don't have to strain yourself."

I picked her up bridal style, which I'm pretty sure embarrassed the both of us. I quickly tried to start a conversation to clear the awkward silence that was lingering in the air.

"Uh... hey Juvia, like I said earlier thanks for sticking around, but I need to talk to you about our problem. I think it would be best if we just avoided each other for a while."

"Why? Natsu, Juvia said she would stay to try and help you. How can she help you If you avoid her?"

"It won't be forever, just until one of us finds a sure - fire way to fix this problem. I just can't risk hurting you anymore than I already have. I know that it's not really me when it happens, buth the memories of it are to real at times. Besides this way, by avoiding each other, you'll know that I'm not in control If I come up to you. That will be yur clue to get as far away from me as possible."

"Juvia supposes that makes sense, but the moment she finds a way to help you, she will be looking for you."

"Hehehe... I'm looking forward to it Juvia."

END OF FLASHBACK:

During this week he also has not requested my specific service, so Mira has been giving me simple chores to do around the mansion. It's pretty simple, If I'm not helping with the cleaning, then I'm helping with the cooking, If I'm not doing that then I'm helping Elfman with the guard dogs. I believe Natsu would purposely spend most of his time outside to lower the risk of running into me. It's odd... one week ago I wanted to have nothing to do with him and escape... but after that night when he came to help me and carried me back, now I want to be by his side. The only problem is the other Natsu, the one in his head. But it's been a week, if Natsu had lost control then the evil Natsu would have confronted me. So maybe it is safe for the two of us to meet at least once. Alright that settles it, the next time I see him instead of acting like he's not there, I'll walk right up to him and demand that he give me something to do.

Man this sucks! I know I told her that we should just avoid each other at all costs, but I think I'm starting to feel... lonely? Huh... reminds me of when Igneel left. Except this time the person I care about is staying down the hall. No. I care to much about her to risk losing control and hurting her. But how do I tell her? What do I tell her? It'll look suspicious If I suddenly walk up to her after avoiding each other for a week She'll probably think that I lost control and run away like I told her to do. Dammit why did I come up with such a flawless plan!? What I need is a way to talk to her, without doing it in person.

Hmmm....

I guess the best, indirect, way to talk to her would be to write her a note and slip it under her door. Hopefully I don't run into her on my way there. Alright I got the paper, I got the inked feather, now I just need to write... whoa wait hold on a sec. By writing this, I'm technically asking her out on a date aren't I? I mean I'm not asking her to perform a duty, what If she sees the note as being asked out on a date? Would she be happy? Or disgusted? Damb, my face feels like it's getting warmer the more I think about it. OK, I think I know what to write now... there now I just need to slide it under her door.
