"Hey Juvia wake up, are you feeling okay? I hope the prince wasn't to rough on you. I wouldn't judge you if you wanted to cry. I want you to know I'm here for you."

Memories from yesterday were returning to my conscienceness. I guess, eventually, I was able to fall asleep on the cold cement floor... wait my head it's warm and so is my body. I sat up and looked at the spot where I rested my head, and saw a pillow. As well as a blanket that slid off my shoulder and covered my legs.

"Did you bring these to Juvia last night? If so then, thank you."

"Sorry Juvia, but it wasn't me. I just found out you were here a couple of minutes ago. If I knew that he brought you in here, I would've told my brother to carry you to your new room. Speaking of, lets head over their now. Can you stand up? He didn't do something too bad to you last night... did he?"

"No, not physically. But emotionally... he murdered Juvia."

"Please follow me Juvia, I'm going to show you to your room where you'll be staying when you're not helping the master. Please do try to keep it tidy and appropriate for a maid who works for royalty. After all, we do have to live up to a certain standard. Now usually if you were just another new hired maid you would live with the rest of them in there living quarters, but the prince chose you especially. So you'll be living upstairs on the second floor to the right. Your room is the very last one so you'll be neighbors with my younger sister, who is more your age. If you ever need help or have a question and I'm not there, I'm sure she would be more than happy to help you."

I entered the room as I looked around the room, it was definitely bigger than the one I shared with Lucy back in the kingdom. I sat on the bed and felt like crying. My chest felt like it was tightening, but no tears were coming out. Probably for the best, I wouldn't want to worry her, she seemed like a nice person. Then again, that's what I thought of him as well.

"I will wait outside for a few minutes your uniforms are in that closet when you have changed into it come outside and we will go from there."

"Okay"

As I was putting on the uniform I heard HIS voice outside talking to the lady.

"Hey Mira! How's it going? What are you up to?"

"Good morning master, I am doing wonderful. Thank you for asking. Right now I'm just getting ready to introduce your special new recruit to our head of security."

"Great thinking Mira. But really do you have to call me master all the time? You know I would prefer if you just called me Natsu."

"Hehehe. Yes I know, but that wouldn't be proper or appropriate of me as the head maid here."

"Hehe, alright fair enough. I will be outside in the backyard if you need me for something."

"Oh wait master, would you like me to send Juvia to you in a little while?"

"Sure! I'm excited to get to know her. Send her whenever you would like, I will be in the backyard for most of the day."

"Will do Master."

Dammit! Out of all the people to get in my way, it had to be Mira. She probably suspects me and did it to protect her and get under my skin! Whatever. I'll get my time alone with Juvia later.

"Okay Juvia, Natsu left you can come out now you don't need to worry."

"Thank you Mira, when Juvia heard his voice she started to get nervous. She thought he was going to barge in here."

"Trust me Juvia, as long as I'm here Natsu will behave himself around you."

"Juvia hopes you are right."
