"Honey! Are you going to visit Blair at the psychiatric hospital?" Leah yelled out. It had been days since anyone in the house had seen or talked to Blair, and they were beginning to worry. "I'm actually going to go pick her up today." Brandon answered. Leah walked out of their bedroom and into the entryway where Brandon was putting his shoes on. "That'll be good, it's about time she came home. I miss my baby." She stated. Brandon nodded his head in agreement.

"Alright, I'm off!" Brandon yelled to his family. In return he got several, "goodbye's" and, "I love you's". He walked out to his car, got in, started it, then pulled out of the steep driveway. He turned his music up and sang along to "Shaking Hands" by Nickleback. He got the the hospital sooner than he thought he would. He pulled into the parking lot and parked in a spot close to the door.

As he made his way to the glass doors, he took a deep breath of fresh air. He smiled lightly when he thought of his daughter's smiling face, back home where she belongs. He entered the hospital and made his way to the desk. The same kind nurse that checked Blair in was sitting at the desk, and she smiled at Brandon.

"Hello, Sir! How are you today?" She asked. "Oh not too bad, just came in to check my daughter out." He smiled. The nurse's smile disappeared, and she seemed to become nervous. "One moment please, while I consult Doctor Welsing." She got up fast and walked away. Brandon's smile disappeared as well, and it was replaced with an anxious feeling.

"Hello, Mr. Tannen. I'm Doctor Debra Welsing, I've been told that you are looking to check Blair out of the hospital today?" She asked him matter-of-factly. He straightened his posture and addressed her. "Yes, my family and I think that it's about time she came home." He spoke his mind. "Well, unfortunately, we cannot allow that." She puts her polished hand on Brandon's. He jerks his hand away.

"Why not?" He questions angrily. "Her mental state has worsened, Mr. Tannen. I'm afraid that your daughter is now in solitary confinement due to her self harming behavior." She explained. "My daughter doesn't hurt herself!" He shouts. Several nurses jumped when his voice boomed. "Mr. Tannen, please calm down." Doctor Welsing cautioned him. "No! I want my daughter out here now!" He exploded. Doctor Welsing called security, and two large men in black showed up and carried Brandon outside.

The men threw him onto the sidewalk, and then turned around and locked the doors. Brandon got up and angrily brushed himself off. Before leaving, he cursed at the hospital, the doctors, and the nurses inside the building. He then got into his car, and drove home. On the way home, he made sure to make a call to his expectant wife, whom of which would be extremely disappointed.

"Leah, who do you know has the capability to get our daughter out that damn hospital?" He shouted over the phone. "Brandon? Why? What's going on? They didn't let her out?" Leah responded hurriedly. "The fucking doctors told me that she was hurting herself, Blair doesn't hurt herself!" Brandon yelled again, scaring Leah. "Honey, please, come home and we'll talk this over." She tried to reason. "Fuck that! I'm going straight to the police!" Brandon spat through the phone. Then he hung up.
