Just sitting in the little quiet coffee shop in the corner near the back facing the door and windows you stare at your laptop just browsing thru looking for job ads. Soon getting frustrated you decide to take a break and go scrolling thru all your thousands of photos you've taken. Ones from childhood, to ones you've taken for your career you wish you had. You always wanted your own photography studio and to travel all over but you could only ever find something with taking pictures for someone else with not having the money to start your own company or to really do your own artistic passions.
Sitting there sipping your coffee browsing thru old memories of you and your two best friends, one which you haven't seen in years you can't help but smile at the memories. Brought back to reality by the sound of a motorcycle engine, another favorite thing of yours, you look towards the door seeing a triumph park just outside the door. Admiring the bike but not paying any attention to the rider you think back again to happier and more freeing times. It was those two friends that hooked you on bikes. You used to be deathly afraid of those things until those boys basically shoved you on the back of one and took off with you hanging on for dear life. But to be honest it was a thrill of a lifetime. That single ride changed you from that moment on. You've never been able to afford a bike of your own but it's definitely on your list of must haves.
"So you like bikes?" You hear from a husky voice beside you.
You look up a little stunned to see the rider of the triumph standing near you with a coffee in hand.
"Oh umm yeah haven't been on one in years tho." You say to him.
"They are awesome. I ride when ever I can. Names Norman" he says holding out his hand to you.
Wiping your hand on your pant leg you shake his "Reese"
He smiles "wow that's weird."
"What's weird" you ask looking a little confused.
"Oh nothing just remembering something from a long time ago" Norman says while thinking about a girl he once knew.
"So what you got there?" He asks pointing to your laptop that's open with pictures showing on the
"Oh just some old photos I have taken from childhood to places I've been. Nothing special really" you answer back shutting the screen
"You a photographer or something" he asks.
"It's a passion of mine and one day... never mind it's boring really." Stopping from probably boring him out of his mind.
"Well ok anyways I should head out gotta get to work was just stopping to get a friend of mine his coffee before meeting him at work. Maybe I'll see you around?" Norman says not really wanting to leave because little did you know photography was one of his main passions in life.
"Yeah sure I'll be around. Nice meeting you Norman." You reply back.
Soon you are alone again sitting just thinking how you should go about your day.
Deciding to take a walk around the town taking photos as you go. Pictures of old stone buildings, unique looking homes and even some strange looking people.
Finally getting to the edge of town you notice the forest edge. Thinking maybe about getting some interesting photos there you head towards it. You didn't want to go in to deep because knowing your sense of direction you could easily be lost in a matter of minutes.
Jumping to the sound of a phone going off you realize it's yours.
Looking at the screen you see one of your long time friends sent a text.
Sean- hey beautiful. Long time no speak. How are ya?
Reese- hey Seany I'm as good as can be how about you. Any new movies lately?
Sean- yeah just finished one hey listen where about are you now a days. Needing me some Reese time. Gotta track you down sometime
Shaking her head and smiling. He always knows when I need him damn it.
Reese- how do you do that?
Sean- do what?
Reese- know when I'm alone and need a friend lol. I'm in Georgia now. Thinking of staying put for awhile too. Kind of like it here. It's peaceful.
Sean- Georgia huh? That's interesting. Send me you addy so I can come visit actually gonna be in town there in a couple days.
Reese- really your coming here? Ok now I'm excited. I'll send it to you now. I've missed you Sean you have no idea. Let me know when you get in so we can plan to meet up.
Sean-Sounds good babe. Miss you too. Can't wait to catch up. See ya soon 😉😘
Finishing off the messages Reese is beyond excited. She's been alone on and off for awhile now and actually having him around will be a nice escape from reality. Travelling from place to place for years she's never really had time to manage friendships or relationships so she's always been a little bit of a loner. She's not extremely shy or hard to approach by any means. She just hasn't stayed in one place long enough to really have those kinds of relationships last. Sean was only the one to really keep track of her after all these years. Seeing each other when his schedule wasn't so hectic.
