Its been 5 months since I last saw Dan. I dont know why but my heart hurts thinking about him. I tried focusing on other things. But with my leg and in a hospital bed. It gets lonely.
3 MONTHS BEFORE
Im sitting here in the bed feeling a great deal of pain in my leg. I took the covers of and looked at it. It slowly started to turn blue. I reached over and pushed a red button. With in 2 mins a doctor came in and saw my leg. He called down the hall for nurses.
"Whats happining?" I said panicked.
"Seems to be a infection in your leg. Can you feel this?" The doctor but a small cut in my leg and i felt nothing. He looked worried and said everytbing wilk be alright. A nurse came in with a needel and some fluid. "Katelynn. We need to put you under"
WAKE UP
I woke up to a numb feeling in my leg. I tried moving my toes but nothing moved. I started to panik when Dakota came in.
"Katelynn your awake" he said tears in his eyes.
"Dakota what happend?" I said weak.
"They had to amputate your leg" he said crying.
5 MONTHS LATER
The doctor said that today I can walk and leave. But where will I go? My phone started to vibrate and i picked it up.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Katelynn. I miss you" said the voice i missed. I started to cry.
