Rumple sat in Ursula's apartment. He had found her yesterday and was ready to go find Corella.

A tear streamed down his face as he thought of that night the one Belle had given up on him. The night he had tried to kill him self. What a foolish thing to do. He couldn't believe he had been so childish.

As the tears came quicker and closer together he became angry. Gold grabbed the nearest thing to him, a half filled coffee cup, and threw it across the room. It shattered as it hit the one of the many fish tanked Ursula kept.

He was filled with anger. He had to do something. So he called her

There was a ding as the door to the small restaurant opened. It was her, Marion! She wasn't in a dress but jeans and a shirt. It was different.

She sat down across from her in the booth. "Hi Mr. Gold."

He smiled for the first time in a wile,"Hello. I'm glad you could come."

"Actually, I was at a family thing. Thank you for pulling me away." She laughed.

"You should have stayed with your family."

"It's fine. This is a lot more fun anyway."

His face turned bright red as he quickly pulled the menu up in front of himself. "So what are you getting?"

She picked up her menu, "Hum, I think I'll just get a cheeseburger."

His eyes shot up to meet hers. A hamburger? Even though that's basically all they sold there, why did she have to choose a hamburger?

She recognized the look of pure fear across his face, "Are you ok Mr. Gold?"

"Uh," he began to fumble over his words like the coward he was always did, "It's nothing."

"If you say so Mr. Gold."

He sat up and fixed his tie. He needed the confidence of the Dark One, and for a moment he needed to be the smart, sharp witted Mr. Gold. With a immediate switch in personalities he reapplied, "Please dearie, call me Gold."

Her eyes lit up as they hit his. He looked comfortable and confident. "Ok Gold. Shall we order?"

He nodded with a half smile and they waved over the waitress.

The walked down the path at the nearby park. They had decided to do for a walk after their meal.

They walked just enjoying the beauty of the park for a wile before Marion broke the silence, "We should do this again some time."

Gold's heart stopped. What did she mean? Was she just being nice? Did she want to be friends with the Dark One? Or was it something more? Did she want to go on a date!?

All the thoughts where stopped when a man ran out of the woods and grabbed Marions purse. For a moment Gold was in no pain as he picked up his cain and hit the man in the head.

The man dropped the purse and ran. He was obviously just trying to take advantage of a couple of older people.

Gold then realized Marion had grabbed his hand and was still holding it. She sheepishly pulled her hand away as she realized what she had done.

He picked up her purse handing it to her, "it's ok. Would you like to go out to dinner with me tomorrow?"

Her face turned cherry pink as she answered, "Yes, I would." She grabbed his hand and the went on their way.
