Living With My Memories

"We have to find a way to get on this plane somehow!?!" Ava said.

Ava and I stood there for a moment, thinking about our options.

"I got it" Ava screeched.

"What" I replied.

"Just get in the car we have to go now."

Ava and I jumped in the car, and headed off to the place she was taking me. I looked at my surroundings, wondering were we were going.

"Where are we going Ava" I asked

"We are going to the airport."

"The airport why!?!"

"We are going to sneak onto a airplane."

We arrived at the airport, and she grabbed my hand and we ran inside.

It was so crowded inside and such long lines,their were people crying, and they were desperately wanting to get onto a plane.

"Ok I did not really plan this out, but we have got to get on a plane somehow,and sometime." Ava said

It was so crowded that we went to a corner where security was not, and snuck away right through them.

"That was a close one!!!" I said frightened with shock.

"Yeah it was!!!" Ava replied back.

We kept walking until we saw a sign saying, this way to get on the plane that takes you to California.We turned that way, and attempted to sneak on to the back of the plane. There was so much luggage in the back that it could only fit about two people.While we were about step on, we noticed that a woman and her two children were attempting to get on also.

"Ava,they are trying to get on too, what do we do?!?"

"We have to get on before them,hurry go walk fast!!!"

I pulled Ava back, and gestured for the lady to get on the plane first.

"Abbey,what are you doing, you ruined our chance!!!"

"Ava, stop being selfish,she has two kids with her!"

On the overhead we heard 'Flight 10 is leaving in five minutes due to weather conditions. Repeat. Flight 10 is leaving in 5 minutes due to weather conditions.'

"Come on Abbey, lets go!" Ava screeched.

I saw a guard coming to close up the door, and I pushed Ava into the plane, and I told her to sit next to the women and her children behind the luggage.

"What are you doing Abbey?!?!" Yelled Ava.

"Saving your life!" I replied.

"Wh-" Ava said as she had to be quiet because she saw the guard.

I ran away, and went outside to go in my car. I started the engine and began to back out when I saw the plane take off, knowing that Ava and the woman and her children were safe. I headed back to my house, to live the last moments of my life, with all of my memories.

By the time I was at my house, the water rose a bit above the bottom of my window, soon to be broken. I was scared, but I knew that I made a good choice. I got my coffee, waiting for my last moments to arrive. The water busted down my door, hitting me like a pile of bricks. Dead.
