I sat in the pouring rain, waiting for the mustard yellow bus to take me to my college. The rainy liquid hit my face and lightning struck not too far behind me as the bus pulled up in front of me.

"You, girl," the bus driver shouted at me as he opened the door. "Get in! How long have you been waiting?" He exclaimed, looking at my soaked hair and clothes. I unfortunately had left my scarlet colored umbrella back at the hotel I had been staying at.

"Long enough," I muttered. Raising my voice, I yelled, "About an hour or so."

"Jesus, I'm surprised you didn't get pneumonia!" He said, shaking his head. I sat there, gaping at him. He was kind of cute... about five foot four with curly, tangled sandy blonde hair, and nice sea green eyes that reminded me of the ocean. Before I realized what I was doing, he shouted, "Well? What are you waiting for, to catch your death? Get in the freaking bus!" Jolted back into reality, I nodded and hopped in the bus for the seven hour long drive to Virginia.

"So, where are we heading exactly?" The very attractive bus driver questioned after about thirty minutes of pointless driving. Shocked, confused, and angry(but mostly wondering if that guy would ask me out), I sat upright immediately in my seat.

"You mean, you don't know?"

"Ain't got the slightest idea."

I gawked at him, and grumbled the adress under my breath.

"What was that?"

"I live in Virginia."

"Okayyyyy.... Not really the expected answer." With amusement, he added, "So what you're telling me is that you want to be dropped off in the rain on the Virginia border?"

"No! I mean, not exactly..." I stumbled over my words, trying to find a way to explain. "I mean... I need to get to my sisters house... but she-"

"Address?"

"I..." I began, hesitant to reveal the end of the sentence. "I don't know the EXACT address, but-"

"I'll just drop you off at another rainy bus stop then."

"You're just trying to flirt with me now aren't you?"

"Yes, totally, because I am a guy who flirts with completely random girls."

I sighed, not prepared for the long, boring bus drive with this obnoxious bus driver. I didn't even know his name and I was fed up with this dudes sarcasm.

"So, pretty, what's your name?"

Ignoring his compliment, I replied, "Jenna. Jenna Bell, author of one poorly written book submitted on a website, creator of crappy quality youtube videos, single, and a DJ."

"Cool. The name's Davis. As you can see," he said, gesturing to the steering wheel of the bus, "I am a bus driver."

"Cool, I guess. So where are you from?" I asked.

"Meh, actually, pretty far from Savannah. Around Blacksburg."

I sat up, my eyes wide. "Umm..."

"What?"

"My sisters live in Blacksburg!"

"Really? What are their names? And why do they live together?"

"Well they don't exactly, they are roommates at Virginia Tech. They wanted me to come up and visit them, and maybe go to the college, since I got accepted a while back. Their names are Amanda and Kim, they're both nineteen."

"Cool. I go to Virginia Tech."

"Then why are you driving a bus in Savannah Georgia?"

"Hey, I've gotta make money too ya know." He said, pretending to be offended. I chuckled. He is such an idiot. He from there on focused on the road, and I prepared for the longest seven hours of my life.
