After the weekend with his friends was over it was the winter holidays, that weekend was pretty good to say Dan was sexually tormented by close friend Oliver through out of the film thanks to Kin'no suggesting that he sat next to Dan for the film, he knew all too well that Oliver would strike devilishly in his school girl costume and tease Dan around his sensitive spot located on his neck just below his left ear, it was little fact Aiden had yet to be discovered and the blonde would like to keep it that but the only way to do that is to make sure Kin'no nor Oliver say anything to Aiden. Any way, winter vacation. Finally some time to relax after what would be described as nightmare of a college term, Dan found him self happily relaxing in his room by himself reading one of his favourite novels, no Aiden, no Ausuka, no nothing sometimes it seemed to good to be true as most thing were but today was exception, he had no reason to go out. Apart from the fact he had ran out of toilet paper and needed to get some more. Fast. If it wasn't for his student life he'd would have gone shopping and stocked up more for his time off but sadly he was too lazy to and now paid the price and needed to go out to the shops into the void he called the outdoors.
Outside was still covered in snow but it hadn't snowed for a few days now so it wasn't as thick as it was a first, snowmen stood tall and sturdy happily in the cold temperature that didn't seem to want to shift resulting in Dan dressing up extra warm. It was over the weekend that the cold got so worse in, most places were shut too due to ice build ups around the buildings entrance it was a health hazard especially with little children running around but it didn't stop them, some kids even went whizzing across the ice in roller blades enjoying the rush of excitement that they could brake their neck and not wearing a helmet. Dan found himself wearing his woolly jumper under a thick coat and even know he didn't feel as cold he felt stupid because it made him look more chubby, especially with his scarf around is neck that he had wrapped around his lower jaw, it stretched around far enough to go around twice, he'd wear a hat but hated having his cat ears flattened down as well as it made his hair look a mess when he took it off. His local store was only a short stroll down the streets, it was one of the quiet streets with one of those roads that did not have grit thrown around so the snow was still thick in this area, it played havoc on Dan's poor toes, he was in need of some new shoes his trainers had seen better days they had reached the point where it had tears all the sides, a welcoming door way for the freezing cold snow.
At last reached the shop named “Nakamura Convenience Store” it wasn't a huge store but had every daily need essentials that you'd ever want to buy. As Dan walked in a bell jingled above catching the attention of the cashier who stood in his spot in behind the counter, he was a young looking man with light brown hair, he was taller than Dan and wore a apron that you could see most shop keepers wear,
“Greetings Dan, my isn't it cold outside” he smiled warmly has Dan kicked the snow off his trainers onto the welcome mat beneath him,
“Hello Jousuke” he responded. Jousuke's father own the store, he just worked there part time to earn his keep, Dan didn't know much about him apart from that he lived above the shop along with his Sister and father, his mother passed away a while ago when Jousuke's little sister was born. Dan also knew he wanted to become pâtissier(1) and open up his own bakery one day so he currently taking culinary classes at the college, Dan some times run into him there but only on the odd days since the two subjects where studied at the opposite ends of the building, “It's unbearable outside today...” Dan wasn't really adapted to this sort of weather unlike the friendly cashier who preferred the cold to heat,
