They're just using your heart because theirs won't start.'

THE BEAMING HEADLIGHTS cast a heavenly glow around the dark woods of the night and the tall willowy silhouette that seemed to call to it. Two blood red eyes moved through the trees hiding from the piercing rays shinning upon its ghastly face. The tall identifiable female chuckled at the sight. Leaning so her hips rest on the front of the dark vehicle, her hand made its way into her satchel that rested atop the hood. Her black nails slid down into one of the pockets. Plucking a small plastic container full of dark red liquid.

The beasts head raised at the sight, moving closer on its hind legs, the smell of whatever was in there—setting it on edge. It seemed to subconsciously inch closer and closer, still keeping its distance aware of the danger that followed with her appearance.

The women shook her head, dark locks falling over nearly bare shoulders, a teasing grin making its way to her pale pink lips. Opening it she broke her silence.

"You've been busy."

Her legs pushed away from the vehicle in a swift motion, taking a step forward while she idly played with the smooth edge of the open container.

The beast huff was evident in the quiet night. Nothing but empty road and even emptier woods for miles.

The brunette let out a soft laugh, amusement dancing in her black orbs.

"Don't act so surprised. You know me well enough to realize I would be keeping tabs on you. Whoops--"

Her fingers went to trace the edge of the bowl where the red liquid spilt over the top, gathering it on a thin finger, bringing it up to her mouth.

A noise of appreciation fell from her lips at the taste. The creature let out a growl, its eyes solely on the contents of the container. Noticing this the women held it into the light.

"You like? It's pigs blood, possibly an organ or two—in case you were wondering. I know, I know. Not exactly as good as what you've been having as of recent but it's something."

It crawled its way from the curtain of trees, warily making its way closer just peeking out from the edge of the branches.

She took the final steps forward, not letting herself become to close, crouching to set it down near the creature. Watching as the beast eyed it hungrily.

Standing to her full height she took a step away, turning her back to the animal. The sound of a branch breaking from where the animal made a move forward alerted her. Before it could take the bloody container and without looking back, her foot kicked it over, the pig spilling and mixing with the dirt and gravel.

A growl ripped its way through the night. So loud the girl could feel the rumble move through her chest. And as she took a step toward the black car her earlier amusement was no longer visible anywhere on her pretty features.

"If you're gonna act like a wild animal then you'll be treated like a wild animal, Peter."
