Phil's POV

"I didn't do this. My dad did."
I stared in astonishment and anger.
"How could he do this to you?! that drunken-" I paused and heard a knock. I looked through the peephole in the door to see a police officer. He was holding someone.
"Hold on a second."
I opened the door

"Hello lad- I have this man here-" he said holding.. DAN! The police officer stopped. He glared over at Ariel.
"That's the woman that's been missing for 7 months! You've been holding her captive!"
"No no no, this isn't what it loo-"
"Miss, you are coming back with me. Get your things."
"No!"
"Now sir you listen to me,"
"Listen? now what happened is she ran away because of abuse by her parents!"
"Is this true mam?"
"Yes. It is." Ariel said depressingly.
"Well I'm sorry but it's my job and I have to take you back."
Ariel cried silently while she ran to her room. Well, I guess it's not her room anymore.

Ariel's POV

Why is my life so horrible? Now, I have to return to my old flat. With my abusive, horrible, ignorant parents. Thanks alot, police officer.

As soon as I got home Dustin came over and hugged me and Dad was sober! Melody talked and looked better! Mom is fine she has no bruises! There's not anymore cigarettes or glass! I checked the fridge, no alcohol what so ever!
"Where were you all this time?!" my dad finally asked.
"Um, at a uh, FRIENDS yea, a friends house."
"Oh, why didn't you call us?!"
"I never thought that you would answer."
Then, I got a call and of monsters of men started playing. Dan! I ran into my room and answered.
"Hi, love." He said.
" Hey"
"Are you okay? Are you depressed?'
"Actually, No. Everyone is back to normal."
"Hey, great but one thing,"
"Yes?"
"Why when the officer brought me in, you only had on a bra and shorts..?"
"Um, I'll come over later and talk about it."
"Okay, one other thing,"
"Yes"
"Why did Phil kiss you?"
"I literally have no idea.."
'Oh, tomorrow do you want to go to the zoo with Jack, Finn and I?"
"Uh, sure!"
"We can see zebras!"
"Yay!"
"Okay Phil made pancakes. Ill call you later."
"Alright bye, love!"
"Bye!"
I walked into the living room with a stupid grin on my face.
"What's up, love?" Dustin said.
"I'm going to the zoo with my friends tomorrow!" I said squealing.
"What friends?" Melody said jokingly.
"The ones that I lived with for a while. Plus these boys, Jack and Finn I think Dan said."
"Whoa Whoa Whoa. These are men you've been staying with?"
"Yeah ma."
Mum looked angry. Then she lit up.
Melody smiled for I think the first time in 19 years.
