She pulled out of the hug and looked at my faced. She looked sad but angry.
"was this your mother again" she asks
i nod my head as my head falls into my hands and i start crying.
why does my mother have to be like this?
i think to myself. i lift my head up and look over to Ethan... he looks really upset but still angry...
why does he care about someone who he just met? actually, why does he care about me?

{Ethan's POV}
i can't help but listen to what they are talking about. I heard her friend ask her if it was her mother again and then i saw Alissa nod her head... i wanted to cry and i don't know why i want to cry but i just do, i've never felt this way before... i felt a mixture between anger, depressed and love.

They come and sit down on the chairs and Alissa is still crying... i feel really sorry for her.

A couple of minutes later i get a call from Grayson.
"oh umm, i'm sorry i have to take this"

yo, where the fuck are you man you've been gone for ages?
oh yeah sorry Gray, i found a girl
as in like a girlfriend?
no she was walking on the sidewalk and she loosed like she was in a lot of pain so i asked if she needed a lift to wherever she was going but when i saw her face she had a half black eye and busted lip and a bleeding nose so i took her to the hospital... i feel really sorry for her bro
oh my gosh okay what hospital are you at?
umm i'm at the main hospital

i returned to the seat. I decided to say something to Alissa. I put my hand on her thigh and said "it'll be okay don't worry" i felt my eyes tearing up... man, this is hard. She smiled at me and put her head on my shoulder. I want this to be real.

"Alissa Violet" I hear the nurse say
I get up quickly to help her up.

"no, it's okay... i'm fine" she says
"no, it's not okay... you're fine.... here let me help you" i say as i grab her hand and put her arm over my shoulder.

im sorry i never update but this time i actually promise to update more often oh and i literally have no idea what the names of the hospitals are in la so i just said the main one lmao
